First of all I think it's great that Jakks has Finally came out with newer style pads for the figs, but with wrestlers such as Randy Orton who still have the "older" type pads (not to mention the figs in the CS line) do you think Jakks is totally going to drop these, or will they actually (and I doubt they will) mix and match between figs to style them appropriately?

i think adventually with repaints and junk there going to be new pads with the CS, and RA figs.

I really think Jakks is gonna start using the newer ones on all figures. The older one's will eventually be phased out. They've never been very good with accuracy on pads.

The new ones don't really look like the pads wrestlers wear today, the DA ones are like current pads (the pad being more rectangular rather than circular) They really should've made the new RA ones like that, even for CS they would be more suited because not many wrestlers had circular pads back then either.
Jakks likes to use their new molds alot even when old ones are better suited for the purpose so I reckon we'll be seeing the new pads on all figures from now on, especially considering the second wave of RA27 had them on all the figures.

I hate the old pads, they slide down alot. Don't have any of the new pads so I don't really know if they do.

I hope they do some shipments with both pads. Like initial shipments will have the old pads, then later shipments will have the new pads. I hate the new ones

I only have the new elbow pads.. and they are great. I hope they stick around and Im sure they will..
I didnt mind the old pads tho at all. Tho the new ones are way better

well the new style pads are just new to jakks. They aren "modern elbow pads." I mean some old guys had the newer style pads back in the day.

I'm praying Jakks mixes them as the older pads suit many of the CS figure while the newer ones are well off for the current stars.

They will probably throw them on repaints but put the newer ones on new figs.

I think all RA and AD figures should have the new pads where the Classic Superstars line keeps the old pads.

I hate the old pads, they slide down alot. Don't have any of the new pads so I don't really know if they do. The new pads dont slip at all. There great. |

They new ones don't slip, but they can slightly limit arm movement. I really think Jakks should make elbow/knee pads out of some sort of material resembling a bookcover. (Relatively thin fabric, which stretches easily, and would not slip)
