Righty dokey matey blokey's, I know in Unmatched Fury they flick between current day and retro a lot, but is Ric Flair current or retro? His head scan tells me retro (along with having "Nature Boy" on his trunks, i think nowadays he just has RF on the corner?). But his torso tells me current day. Does anyone know if he is based off a particular match or anything? Also, you know the 1/5000 RVD? Have jakks ever made an RVD in the costume that he is wearing in the picture on the side of the 1/5000 box? (I havent got a picture, sorry.) Thanks y'all  |

Im not sure about the Rvd
But Flair is Retro becasue he isnt chubby in the UMF.

Yeah flair is retro. j He isn't as chubby int he fig as he is nwo but he has always been a softy. I mean flair was never a well tuned athletic mass of muscle. He made a living by being enteraing, flamboyant and knowing how to get a rise out of people. Basicaly he knew how to piss you off.

I've never seen that RVD in that attire before.
Flair is from the 80's

The UMF Flair is indeed based on his look from the 80's. Look at pics of him from that era, it's obvious. The hair, and as someone else mentioned, the trunks are a dead giveaway.
And no, to the guy with the smokin' hot girlfriend, it's not based off of Starrcade '83 . . . not exactly. It's a throwback to the entire ERA, not one particular match.

Does anybody have a pic of the side of that box? I have seen loads of pics in the past but couldn't find one in the database.
I think Flair is retro because wrestlers tended to be a bit more chubby in those days, hence why most 70s guys have the fat torso.
