Yes i am 14 years of age almost 15 and know it is time to stop collecting as i am getting a little too old, I Will obviously still be active on this forum and take a look at the main site just to see whats going on and since there is no point in making a pointless topic like this, lets alter the thread a little. If you have already, When did you stop collecting and what was your last figs. Mine as Haas and Benjamin

Well, I disagree on your 'stance' a little. You don't have to stop collecting simply based on your age. Hell, I'm 18 and I still love collecting and figure hunting!! I know that there are people at least 40 years old on these forums. I, personally, will not stop collecting for a while.

I, personally, will not stop collecting for a while. yeah, i know, i'm 28 it's cool tho, i've been collecting since hasbros, but i did get out of it for awhile, probably when i was about 12 or 13 to when i was 18. i was just doing other stuff that was cooler to me at the time. i remember when i got back into collecting i was, i think 18, & i went to toys r us to get a video game or something & i was wandering around looking at stuff and saw the BCA figs & i was like "omg, i have to get these" cuz i didn't even know they made wrestling figs at the time after the hasbros were gone & i've been back collecting again ever since. i enjoy collecting a lot more now, even tho i don't play like i did when i was younger, i have plenty of money to get what i want and i don't have to worry about weird issues like - am i getting too old to get toys, will i be able to get laid if i buy figs lol etc. like the things that teens worry about when they quit collecting.

Well, I say it doesnt matter what anybody says about you collecting or what your age is, But if you feel the need to stop, Then i guess you want too. I personally wont stop collecting because it's an awesome hobby and it keeps me busy.

Age has nothing to do with collecting. Honestly you're at an age where you feel insecure about it. Thinking people will think your "childish" or "immature" because you collect/play with "toys". I stopped my freshman year in HS, then again when i was 18...Im 24 now and I picked back up when i was 22. You'll be back

Yup I quit at that age for almost two years, for the same reason. You're not too old, once I realized that I got sucked back in. you'll collect again...they always do.

Age has nothing to do with it. Trust me, there are 30-seomthing your old rockstars that still collect comic book hero action figures ... there ain't nothing wrong with it.

You're never too old for any hobby. Batista's like 40 and he collects lunchboxes.

I stopped about two years ago because even when I bought the figures, I never really played with them or anything. I just kinda wanted them to have them. And eventually it got too expensive. I could better spend the money elsewhere. I think my last one was a Rene Dupree or Rob Conway.

I remember I stopped collecting in Jr. High as it did feel childish and I wasn't into the BCA as much as I had hoped I'd be. Thus I thought I'd never collect again. However I just turned 26 and collect exclusively MOC CS figures. But I can tell you this: once the CS line is done and I've gotten all the CS figures (minus the 1/100s and below) I will be done collecting. By that time my wife and I will be starting a family and I can shift what time I had for collecting to my kids.
