I just saw one end on ebay. How come some 1/100 ToyFare "Rulebreaker" Slaughters have the leg stamp and some don't? Anyone know?

I think there was second wave. No matter what they say i think theres more then 100 out there

I believe there were 2 waves of 1/100 Sgt Slaughter that came out. From what I know, the first wave ( a couple of figures ) didn't have the stamp but it was noticed by Jakks who notified the manufacturer of the missing stamp. After that, all the Slaughters had their 1/100 leg stamps. Mine didn't have the 1/100 leg stamp -  |

I thought the one without was a 1/25 employee exclusive, maybe they were made without stamps by accident so they gave them out to emplyees.

There were some 1 / 100 without the leg stamp (Error figs)
the 1 of 20 Employee Fig (didn't have stamp)

From what I understand, some of the first shipment was damaged and they had no stamps. Toyfare sent then back and the new ones had the stamps on them.
The Employee Sgt Slaughter (same figure) 1/20 has no stamp.
The Ric Flair 1/25 does have one on his left leg.

If there's anyone that could be considered an "authority" on these 1/100s and 1/25 employee exclusives, that would be The Berzerker. The only man I know who has and has posted pics of the 1/25 Ric Flair! The only man I know who has LOOSE figs of almost all of the employee exclusives and 1/100s. Now if he would only open that Flair up .....  |

The 1-100 Slaughters with no stamp on the leg are preproduction samples that were sent out, Jeremy has stated when he gave on away a few years back that there were 12 (i think) known figures like this that existed. The 1-20 Slaughter still had a 1-20 stamp on the leg.

The only man I know who has and has posted pics of the 1/25 Ric Flair! The only man I know who has LOOSE figs of almost all of the employee exclusives and 1/100s. Now if he would only open that Flair up ..... I don't mean this as a slam, but opening the 1/25 Flair would be kinda stupid. I mean, loose collector or not, there's no need to ruin the value of one the most rare figures of all time. |

Dude, lighten up. That was meant as a joke. Berzerker knows about that "joke".

When this was discussed a few months ago, Berzerker even said he'd gladly open that up if he had another MOC!

It's not stupid to open a rare figure if you don't want to sell it, it all depends on how you like your figures, loose or MOC. I open all mine but I don't have any 1/100s or less but if I did I would open them too. I have a huge respect for people that open their 1/100s, especially Tony Stewart who seems to have pretty much every figure loose and must have the best collection in the world, to me that shows a true love of the figures over the value for resale. That's what it's all about imo, some people on here say that it's stupid to open 1/3000s but I think it's more stupid to keep a great figure in the box just incase it goes up in value. |

Thanks for all the comments. I have no plans of reselling the figures. I will only open a rare one if I am able to get 2 of them. I am a MOC collector at heart, but I don't think the figure can be appreciated as much inside the plastic. I have close to $8500.00 invested in this list alone. My friend Chris comes over and just shakes his head. He'll say " I cant believe you got a Heenan 1 of 100 just laying around lol." Here is a list of the rare ones that I have and if I have them MOC or loose. Sgt Slaughter 1/100 - With Leg Stamp - Have MOC and Loose Sgt Slaughter 1/100 - With NO Leg Stamp - Have MOC Only Sgt Slaughter 1/20 - With NO Leg Stamp - Have MOC Only Ric Flair 1/25 - Have MOC Only Warrior 1/00 - Have MOC Only Terry Funk 1/100 - Have MOC Only Jimmy Hart 1/100 - Have MOC and Loose Bobby Heenan 1/100 - Have MOC and Loose Hulk Hogan 1/100 - Have MOC and Loose Roddy Piper 1/00 DA - Have MOC and Loose Roddy Piper 1/100 Boxing - Have MOC and Loose Roddy Piper 1/20 Boxing - Have MOC and Loose  ( I didnt open the 1/20, I received it loose lol ) As far as the controversy on the production numbers: I always have said there are more than 100 of the Bobby Heenans in weasel suits. I have had 5 of those in my posession in the past. Meaning there were only 95 left out there. The reasoning that the guy at Jakks gave me as to why they were easy to come by is: There was a blizzard that year in NY while Toy Fair was going on and they only gave away about 30. I did talk to a guy at Toy Fair that did confirm the crowd was way down because of the weather. So it is really hard to tell. I do believe that most are accurate, however I don't think that all of them are. |
