Holy crap dude, those are some awesome deals at Wal-Mart. I wish mine had them for that. My Wal-Mart jusr raised their wrestling figures from 7.99 to 8.99, deluxe & 2-packs got raised as well.

Sorry, what's this fabled "clearance" you talk of? Where I live, the oldest of old crappy figures warm the shelves with no reduction whatsoever. In fact, a Hillbilly Jim that I saw on clearance for $8 (hardly a clearance) was right back up to $20 when I went in there the other day, and these are K-Mart and Target!!! (granted not the same as their US counterparts, who sound fasr more professional)
