Okay guys, I've got some more pickups, recievings, and awesome deals to share with you. I've been EXTREMELY lucky lately, almost so much that its worrying me. Given the prices I've been finding I can't help but wonder whats going on. The weird part is that I'm finding all this WWE stuff on clearance not just in one store, but in a ton of random Wal*marts and such here in the south. (
) Anyway, lets just jump right into it, cool?
Alright... First up, some ebay recievings that I'm really proud of. I found this huge lot whilst browsing and figured "what the hell". I ended up winning for like $30 shipped. I only wanted the accessories. The ring, figures, and TTL stage were just extra to me.
I picked these up between classes last week. I paid $3.00 for Sandman, $2.50 for Candice, $2.50 for Masters, and $5 and
change for JBL.
I drove to Camilla, GA several days ago. I found these in the Wal*Mart there. I paid $3.00 for Kane & MVP and $2.50 for Eric...
I was in Albany on Thursday, I had a few things to do, but while I was in town I thought I'd do some figure hunting. I found some good stuff. I stopped at the TRU and found ALL of ECW2 and some of CS15. I picked up Miz, Balls, Knox, Burke, Razor, and Leaping Lanny (Genius).
Found this in the Wal*Mart, I paid $1.00!!!!
Before leaving town, I hit the K-Mart thinking I might find The Cell. I found no Cell, but I did find a little something burried in the clearance shelves... which were a complete mess. I paid $2.00 for it!
Here's a magical little tail... I've been trying to locate a DA6 King Booker for a couple of months. All of my local stores stay about 8 sets behind in everything, so I have to go out of town to get what I want. My Fiancee' and I took a trip to Gainesville, Florida this past Friday, which is over a 2 hour drive from my house. While we were there, I hit every damn store in the city and found NOTHING! I had begun to get irratated by the time we arrived at the TRU, but my luck changed when I hit the figure isle. I found my DA6 Booker, a Classic 15 Shawn (no entrance gear), and the RA28 Rey Mysterio! I was extremely happy...
When I got home, I could barely contain myself as I opened my new Booker. I gently pulled him out of the package and humbled myself in his glory... and then his arm broke. I stuck him right back in the package.
Everything happens for a reason, I suppose. I woke up yesterday morning and decided to ride to Talahassee to return the Booker at their TRU and try to find a replacement.
We stopped at a Target as we came into Tally. I took a glance at what they had... nothing special. Something caught my eye in the clearance pile on the endcap, it was a DA3 Angle on sale for $2.48. I never picked up a DA Angle, so I grabbed it and headed for the front. I got in line at the register and the lady in front of me was having some trouble paying with a check, so I stood there about 5 minutes. When it was my turn, the cashier gave me a $3.00 coupon for my wait, which I was able to use for the Kurt Angle. I GOT THE ANGLE FOR FREE!!!!! From there we went to TRU, where I was happy to find a replacement for my booker T and a Hassan & Daivari on clearance for $2.80.
I decided to hit the Wal*Mart on our way out of Tally. I found these on one of the clearance shelves. I paid $3.00 for Booker/Boogyman, $3.00 for MNM, $9 for CS Samoans, and $2.50 for Sabu/Raven. I was really suprised to see Joey Styles and the new Micros on clearance! I paid $2.50 for Styles and $1.00 for the last Dreamer/Punk/Shawn Micro set.
And for fun, here's my overall pic from the trip to Talahassee. I ended up paying less than $25 for everything in the picture!
Overall I've done pretty good lately. I've somehow managed to snatch up tons of stuff without paying much at all. Thanks for looking! -Mike
