For me it would have to be either Backlash 2004 Edge or Hurricane. Granted Edge was only my second of him and I got the Adrenaline Hurricane because his RA4 was so hard to find.

i bought balls last week for some reason. I have no idea why i bought them ^ (I edited a little) But that made me laugh! For figures, when CSDA first came out I bought Hogan & Flair. After a few weeks, I wondered why I even bought them as I didn't like the da-style figures. I have however since changed my mind. |

Lol over the Mike Knox fig situation. Oh, yeah, I seem to do this too much. I can't stop looking at my King Kong Bundy fig and thinking the same thing. Also, I kind of fall into the same trap when I buy TNA figs. For example, I just picked up the Homicide/Daniels fig and thought I'd use them in my cruiser division, but I was wrong. Too small.

Yes, plenty of times. One's that come to mind are AD whatever it was Bashams, AD 21? Gymini, ECW Mike Knox & ECW Joey Styles. Also CS 9, Kamala & LOD as well CS 8 Strongbow & Bruiser Bordy come to mind. That all I can think of now but I'm sure that there's plenty more. I know after I buy AD 26 I'm gonna ask myself why I even bothered.
The Cell and the chamber was another thing. What a piece of crapthey were. The cell lasted like a month with my cats who keep sleeping on it and caving it in. The chamber was just trash that's why I refuse to buy the RSR ones. There's a lot of other things I can do with $120.

i keep figures moc, and hang them on my wall. they're my absolute favourite guys, a lot of them are deceased.... and i really like it.
i don't know why i bothered buying wm23 chris benoit. i got it after what he did became public knowledge, and whilst i definitely appreciated his work, he wasn't an absolute favourite.
i haven't been able to bring myself to hang him on my wall- so its a definite candidate for 'why did bother?'.
also, cs8 hollywood hogan- so many better hogan i could've gotten...

Not often, but when I buy an updated version of a wrestler, the older figure becomes useless to me. Yeah that's what I do. I'm only collecting one of each character from now on and if one comes out with better attire or whatever I pick that up and sell the other one. I used to buy figs all the time just to complete the "set" and ended up with too many of the youknowhos. I know one that sticks out... I bought the wrestlemania big show and sabu two pack at the same time as DA sabu and big show. I got to the car and was like what the hell??? I was too embarassed to go return them haha. |

I'm usually pretty careful and think about what may come out in the future, but I have made some mistakes. IE Batista (the taped ribs) is one. I chose him over Val because I figured we'd see a new one by now. What a dumbass move that was. IE Batista is a good figure and all, but I'm not even that big of a Batista fan. Plus he has those old Kane boots that stick out. CS1 Bret, Taker, HHH. Obviously, the first Bret Hart figure in RA form is something special. I knew they would probably release better ones in the future, but I couldn't resist. That figure isn't properly detailed. Taker just looks strange in TTL form. Not really worth the 12 bucks. HHH has a poor torso choice that could rival AD7 Scott Steiner. Cool coat, though. TT Edge/Lita/Hardy. I only bought it for the Lita since she was leaving. I like the Edge figure, but eh. I don't like the Hardy figure at all since I already have the vastly superior No Way Out one. DA1 Batista, Cena, Angle. Just wanted to give DAs a fair chance. I don't collect them, so it was a waste for me. Good figures, though. All the BCA boxsets full of repaints. Jakks used to put 1 or 2 good figures in a 4-figure boxset, the other two being lame ass re-releases most of the time. For that reason I have about 5 or 6 identical Undertakers, and I've honestly lost count of the Austins. First Elimination Chamber. Cheap piece of crap, small ring...just not really worth the price. The thing fell apart constantly so I just threw it in a closet.Yeah, me too. That thing sucked. I put in in a closet, and a few months later I wanted to use it again, and all the cage pieces were chronically bent, and everything was messed up. Also DA Sandman. It's really a horrible fig IMO. I like Sandman, but fig sucks to me. Also, I have some hurricane, not sure what series/number, but it's RA and it's crap. |
