some people use enamel, i have in the past and it worked fine for me, but most people use acrylic
as long as it's decent quality/price it should be fine.

its like 69 cents for the apple barrel Yeah, It's cheap and all, But it is good paint. I have been using it for a few months now and it's pretty good. I've used the blue one to paint my Jeff Hardy's figure hair. I also used a brown one to do facial hair on Jeff. I also used apple barrel to paint all my title belts. Dont be turned off by the price. It's great stuff.

I've Used Apple Barrel Before, Works Great be sure to seal it with a paint sealer. Paint sealer gives the paint a shine afterwords like the jakks figures have, as seen in my Mr. America Figure below
