i've had a debate with several other collectors about whether or not males should buy female figures. some people say buying diva figures is the same as buying barbie dolls or bratz or whatever. i quit collecting diva figures 'cause of having to scale back my figure buying because i was running out of room.
i need opinions on this issue.

I don't see anything wrong with buying them for your collection. ONLY buying them, and not the males? Now That's a little weird.

i see no problem in buying them. If your adding them to your whole wwe collection, or if you have just a diva collection thats still good.

Only close minded people have a problem with others collecting female figures. You sure don't see those people saying anything about themselves buying male figures. Don't let others opinions persuade you into thinking you can't or shouldn't collect them.

buying the diva figs is fine, trust me, i'm a manly man so i know if someone is so uptight that they can't buy a figure of a girl then they have some kind of problem & are more than likely latently homosexual & feel like buying a diva fig will out them in some way.

i buy diva figures as well as the guys, because they're part of wrestling. doesn't really make any difference to me that they're female.

You buy who you like, a lot of people like the divas. They're made of the same stuff= plastic, paint and occasionally fabric. Its not like diva figures have magic fairy dust in them that makes them any different than a Ric Flair figure with a flashy robe. Plus, Bratz are nowhere near as stacked as Candice Michele. Lol.

Why are some on here so insecure to buy a diva yet perfectly fine buying a half naked man in little tights? Think about it.

Buy what you like, dont buy what you dont like.
I buy divas and i truly feel sorry for people who think that you "shouldn't" buy them solely because they're women.

I agree, I collect because I like wrestling and salute the personalites male or female. People who buy only diva figures because divas are hot, hmmmm. Try meeting a real girl.

I buy the divas, because i prefer them in the ring, but hey, i have tons of men. Definitely more men than women, and they all get used. Torrie RA 28 gets used EVERY single day, but i still like to use the men. I see nothing wrong with it, its just collecting. Heck, i do romance storylines with the guys and gals kiss, but so does the wwe, so its fine. Personal Favourite:Mixed Tag Match.

I don't think anybody buys ONLY divas. There are people who like the divas as characters more than most of the men in WWE. I'm one of them, so I buy all of the diva figures produced and also customize(in fact, I think I have the 2nd or 3rd largest RA divas collections on WF, #1 is JDS), but I also buy at least 1 of every other superstar. But even if I didn't, who ing cares? Wrestling figure fans are the ONLY collecters I have heard of that have such a humongous problem with buying female figures. Marvel Legends collecters don't feel demasculinated when they're buying Emma Frost or Storm, they're just characters in the comics. Star Wars collecters don't leave Princess Leia out of they're collections even though she is a big part of the story just because she has a vagina. There are a million examples I could use. Basically, everybody needs to stop worrying about other peoples collecting habits. I don't collect CS (other than the divas, deal with that) but I don't go into every CS thread like an ass hole and say "why do you want to buy them they aren't even on tv what are you gay or something?" There are too many people in the world that look down on figure collecting for us to start looking down on each other. Its exactly like black on black crime. I hope I've enlightened someone with my little rant.

you should do what you want, not what others want or don't want you to do. plain and simple. but if you're running out of space like you said and you're not really into diva figs, then buy something else you really want to put on the limited space that you do have.

Buy the figures you want, who cares what others say. Nobody gave me a hard time because I bought a Brother Love figure. Now if there is anything borderline questionable, it's going into a store and picking up a Brother Love figure and trying to look completely straight/non-child molester like.

i've had a debate with several other collectors about whether or not males should buy female figures. Do your friends also think little girls should not buy Ken Dolls because they represent a male?

Divas come in WWE packaging, they are WWE style figures and they are not made to look all dressed up and all in pink. They are dressed in wrestling attires and have WWE logos over their boxes. They are hardly able to be called dolls. They are WWE action figures.
