To make big wrestlers in DA form?
Ok we have Big Show and i believe Umaga is on the way, but why do they seem to avoid making the big guys?

It's a reluctance to sculpt new parts that can only be used for one person.

Obviously it's because Jakks would have to make specific parts for wrestlers such as Khali, Umaga and Viscera that they might not be able to re-use.
Thusfar nearly every DA figure has had a generic torso either with or without singlet.

Jakks is just lazy and cheap, they did make a DA Big Show though. It's a cool figure but look what happend it is a waste of parts now since he quit, although some of those parts could be used to make a CSDA Andre The Giant. I think the sooner they start making a DA Khali, Umaga, Mark Henry, Big Daddy V...ect the better.

I would think that the cost of getting new parts made would be offset by the DA release of the really known big guys, like Umaga and Khali.
Since I pretty much collect just DA's (at least in regards to Jakks figures), I would love to see a DA Umaga and DA Khali.

They just don't want to bother making new parts that will have limited uses but really they should be looking into it.

DA Big Show (Along with many other DA figures) still warms pegs here. Jakks needs to become more serious about the DA line before they start making new molds. Why would someone pay $2 or $3 more for a DA Big Show when there's an RA Big Show? At the time that the DA Big Show came out, RA 24 Big Show was every where as well as his figure with Mikey in AD.
You can say "Well, I only collect DA's" or "DA > RA", but the fact is that these boards only make up about 15% of the total Jakks consumers in the WWE line. The majority of Jakks figures (At least non-Classics) are bought by parents for their kids. A kid won't care if Khali can bend at the waist or not (As if he could in real life!) as long as he has him to make his Batista and John Cena figures beat up.
Right now, based on price, the Backlash series at KB and those TTL four packs at TRU have more appeal and value to the average Jakks customer (PARENTS) than the DA line does.
To spell it out simply: Parents would rather pay $8.99 for an action figure than $10.99. And until it comes to the point where they don't have the choice, Jakks will always hold back in the DA line.

Okay, lets explain this. Its not a matter of being "cheap" to be patient about sculpting new parts. Jakks' business plan is focused on reusing molds to keep costs down. As such, creating new parts that can only be used for a limited number of figures isn't something they can do all of the time and make the money they need to make to stay profitable. So, they are patient about it. Introducing new parts sporadically. If they were to do new parts every line, we'd get a lot fewer figures over the long run, with still a lot of reuse because that's what is profitable. So, instead of repaints being portioned out over several line-ups, they'd be all in one with maybe one or two new figures. Then we'd get a new wave only 2-3 times a year. We'd get new sculpts about as often as we do now, but with a lot fewer characters overall.
