To tell you the truth, I really don't watch a lot of TNA. I only watch TNA when there's absolutely nothing on TV. I have to admit it's a great show with some great talent, but I'm really not committed into watching it every week. I do watch RAW every week and I try not to miss ECW (I don't even bother with Smackdown! anymore.).
Well over the past few weeks, there has been a lot of hype over the new Women's division in TNA. I'm a big fan of WWE Women's wrestling, but lately the WWE Women's division has been really lagging. Candice as Women’s champ is really starting to take away from the other talented divas like Mickie James, Melina, and Jillian Hall. When was the last time we saw Mickie in a match on RAW (besides teaming w/Candice)? I’m not saying that Candice is a horrible Women’s champ; it’s just that we’re not seeing enough good matches. Beth has been getting a lot of airtime trying to build a bigger feud with Candice, but haven’t we seen enough of the underdog story (cough, cough… CENA)?
I happened to watch TNA the other day and they showed a 5-way match between the women of TNA (Knockouts). The winner enters last into the gauntlet at BFG to become the new TNA Women’s champ. I have to admit it was a good match, where Gail Kim was the obvious stand out. After watching the match I was surprised to say that TNA currently has the better women’s division. I know it was only one match, but just look at the talent that TNA has: Gail Kim, Jackie Moore, Ms. Brooks and I heard Amazing Kong, Shelly Martinez just to name a few.
Now that TNA will be debuting their 2-hour show, the Women’s division will now have a bigger part on Impact. I just wanted to get some opinions over the whole thing. Just a side note, I’m guessing the last 2 will be Gail and Kong and Gail taking the belt in the end.

I just saw Amazing Kong at the ROH PPV here in Chicago. She's not the best looking woman in the world (shocker!) but she's a damn fine entertainer.
TNA needs Sara Del Rey.

yeah that womens match on impact was badass
im excited for this division.. i just hope they at least have more than 6 girls in the division.. id like to see a division with like 10 chicks

Haven't seen shimmer out side of vol 1 and matches at ROH events. Yet to see Kong. But ROH has made a wise approach to the women they've so far considered. 3/5 I'm grateful, 1 I need to figure out and 1 I'm overhyped on.
But they've sure got 10 solid women to work with. I think though like on Thursday's impact. Gail Kim is the best suited for the first champion, sure she makes for a great challenger, but she's so fluid. She moves with grace and she's far from hard to look at. ;D

WWE's still has more talent with the likes of Jillian, Beth, Victoria, Mickie, Melina and even Kristal, Michelle McCool and Candice can look good when being carried. Also they have plenty of talent in OVW and FCW.

Sorry, but WWE's women's division holds one distinct advantage: their division won't be cut in half after one match.

RAW Divas That Wrestle- Beth - Jillian - Melina - Maria - Mickie James Smackdown Divas That Wrestle - Michelle McCool - Torrie - Victoria The only reason WWE has a bigger division is the fact they have 3 shows (which only two of their shows have women wrestling) & only one of their shows has a title they can compete for. TNA Divas That Wrestle The Amazing Kong - Has signed a contract Christy Hemme Gail Kim Jackie Moore Ms.Brooks Roxy Laveaux 8 WWE Divas that wrestle & 6 TNA Knockouts that wrestle (after Kong debuts). I don't see what the diffrence is besides two. If any of the 5 they are bringing in impress them (one of those 5 already must have since Kong is signed) they'll sign them to a contract. I don't see what the diffrence is really. It won't be cut in half after Bound For Glory seeing how only 6 of those in the match are signed to contracts the other 4 are only there for "fillers".  |

wwe divas are not as good as tna divas please!, you all got to be kidding because TNA knockout are not better then WWe divas . I have seen better womens wrestling matches from WWE in the last few month then TNA has ever had . sorry,but WWE divas seem to wrestle better matches then TNA knockout who don't seem to put a good wrestling match for crap. i went to smackdown/ecw house in Columbia ,mo & i saw Michelle McCool vs Victoria. that match was better then any womens match TNA has ever had & that is sad .TNA will never do a womens match right as long as vince russo & jeff jarret are around . vince russo does not know anything about a good women's wrestling match . also WWe has krissy vaine & nattie neidhart coming to smackdown . WWe will always do women wrestling better then TNA . shoot i see matches between Melina & candice Michelle that are better then any tna womens match ever & i have seen all of tna since the first show in 2002.so that says alot about TNA womens wrestling they are not fluided as WWes womens wrestlers & that is fact . |

I think the TNA divas show a lot of potential and have a very credile strong roster but prefer the WWE divas as i love them more and think they have more character and actual storylines.
