Welcome to Look-A-Likes Version 1. This will be one session of many to come where I take an action shot of a WWE superstar and then show you how well Jakks Pacific made thier action figure. Each session or version will consist of 2 action photos and 2 MOC images of thier respective superstars. I will rate each MOC figure in areas of: scan, torso, color, detail, design, accessory, and overall (each aspect will be rated out of a score of 10). So without further a-due, are you ready for Look-A-Likes Version 1!!!!!! Ok, to start out with, we have SmackDown!'s resident redneck, Jimmy Wang Yang. Equipped with a black cowboy hat, black chaps and blue jeans, Jimmy Wang Yang is headed to the ring: Now, let's see how Jakks responded. In his Deluxe Aggression debut, Yang seems 100% to his entrance attire, plus comes with a laptop. Comparisons seem to balance themselves out, and it is a flawless replica. Great job on Jimmy Wang Yang! Scan-9.5 Torso-8.5 Color-9.5 Detail-9 Design-10 Accessory-8 Overall-9 Now, we head to the land of extreme, ECW. He is an original. A veteran of the squared circle. He has had many attires and hair styles. But as of now, he is dressed in vibrant colors much to match his ring abilities. From high-flying moves, to hard-to-break submission. He'll show you, you'll see, he is Stevie Richards! This is his new attire, mainly yellow and blue. The scan has been used in previous figures, but is still accurate and good. The new kicker mold suits him well, and the tights are highly designed. This is yet another great figure made by Jakks. Be sure to pick this figure up in ECW series 3. I'm sure you are looking forward to getting that douflebag! Scan-8 Torso-9.5 Color-10 Detail-10 Design-9 Accessory-7 Overall-9 Ok, that's it for now. I hope you enjoyed the first edition of Look-A-Likes. If you want to make suggestions for future editions don't hesitate to drop me a PM. I would be honored to serve to WF community. Thank you all and take care!

Ugh.
We're not gonna start a new craze of people starting new threads every 5 seconds showing a figure and a photo. "Look Jakks made the pants the same color. I rate this 5 out of 5 for accuracy. Now lets look at 378 more..."
I think we all know what these are based on, we don't need you posting pictures taken elsewhere and telling us what's the same. Just stick this sort of thing in the threads about these figures when they come out, thanks.

It'd be better if you did this with someone not like Jimmy Wang Yang. He wears the same thing all the time now, doesn't he? So obviously his attire is based on what he always wears because he's as one dimensional as Stone Cold.
If you took someone like Shawn Michaels and said "These pants were based on this match..." or if he wore them for a month or something. But yeah, someone who changes their attire might be better to do this with.

Seriously Jeremy, you don't need a duplicate profile to try and make us buy figures. And if yu're not Jeremy.. how much are Jakks paying you? I actually reviewed a figure a while back here before in the hopes of a discussion about the figure taking place. Of course asking for a decent discussion was like asking god to come to my house and DJ for a party.. which of course he only does for special occassions. My review had about twenty pictures of the figure, comments and personal ratings on every bit of it, and was a long and thorough review.. and one of the first replies was "cool". The guy didn't even put a full ing stop. So yeah, Get used to people not actually reading what you wrote and just replying with "Good review" and "great figs".

Nice review but your marking is too soft. Where does the Jimmy get penalised for its scale issues? It should lose more than 1 or 1.5 marks for it. Also, despite it being quite clearl the JWY is not ripped, you still gave an 8.5 for the torso? Its still far too ripped for him. Its worth more about a 6. Also a 9 overall for the Richards with a headscan like that? Thats crazy. Based on your scale Sandman is going to rate off the charts. Seriously, you need to mark harder.
Also you have too many categories. Cut it down. It's pointless rating the same accessories over and over again so cut that out and also colour can fit under detail and so on. To many categories.

How can you post a picture of the real JWY next to a picture of his DA and then go on to say how amazingly accurate it is? Look at the size of his biceps, how ripped the torso is, the length of the legs and even the size of the vest - they are all WAY off on the figure, it couldn't be much less accurate, even the chaps are painted on and the photo you posted shows tassles which aren't on the figure either. Apart from the scan and the paint colours the Jakks version could be anyone. If you want to do reviews I think you should try to be more observant, if you just say everything is awesome then it's a waste of time. We all notice when Jakks messes up figures through their infamous cheapness and laziness, you can't trick us into thinking the figures are perfect by giving false reviews.

I personally don't like the idea behind this. You're basically just comparing a real life photo of a wrestler to one of Ringside's MOC photos of figures I'm pretty sure you don't even have. It'd be better if you at least used your own loose pics.
I'll let you continue to do these, but you have to keep them all in this post.
