We saw a proto for the THQ Exclusive Rey Mysterio, wearing a Smackdown vs. Raw 2008 shirt, a few months ago. Has it been announced how to get this figure? Is it going to be a pre-order from a certain store?

I was wondering the same thing. I went to Gamestop, asking if they knew anything about it, and everyone looked at me funny.

I'm guessing if it with pre-order gamestop will give them away. If it's with full purchase at release date I'm guessing Best Buy. No one knows for sure though.

Im not too sure but i heard it came in a special package (not the box but a promotion) that included it and the game. It can't confirm this though.

I got the shitty CS1 Andre The Giant when I reserved Smackdown Vs. Raw a few years back at Gamestop. When I reserved it, they just handed me the figure in a little plastic bag. I'm sure the same thing will happen here too.

Yeah, remember the Bets Buy exclusive RVD figuer w/ purchase of the ECW Rise and Fall DVD? I wonder if it will be like that? Anyway, I'm going to get the game either way, so might as well get a free figure with it!

Im not sure, here in Australia we usally get a free DVD when we get the game, so it might come as a gift for the first 30 days that its out or something

Yeah it's a Toys R' Us exclusive when you pre-order SvR08. I posted this a couple months ago, if I remember correctly, it was on gamingring.com where it gave that info.
