This is a really hard decision for me guys, And i could use some help/advice.
Ok, heres the deal. This coming week, I feel like buying the RSR v2 w/cage. I really need a new ring since my old RSR V2 W/Cage is busted from so many things. Now, I really want a new ring, But the thing is, It will cost me over 45 bucks buying it at KB Toys. You see, I dont mind forking out the extra money for a new ring, As i really want one. BUT, Here comes the tricky part, And it's bugging me. Im sure we are all familar with the day after Thanksgiving, Right? Yep, The day called "Black Friday". When ALL stores have sales like crazy.
Now you see, Last year there was an awesome sale at K-Mart for a Real Scale ring. You got the RSR PLUS 2 bonus figures for $29.99. Wow, Thats one heck of a deal. All stores have great sales that day. But, It IS about a month and a half away. Me, I get impatient and tend to want a ring now. But you see, I REALLY want an updated ring that is current style. And im thinking that on the day after Thanksgiving that Toys R Us is going to be having the Chamber on sale. I REALLY think this thing is going to be on sale for that day. And, I really would regret getting the RSR V2 w/cage if i found out the chamber would be on sale that day. But also, I could be wrong and the Chamber might NOT go on sale. See, it's bugging me because if i wait until the ad for tru for the day after Thanksgiving sale is put out, and the chamber isnt part of the sale, I'll be pissed. AND theres also a chance i would'nt be able to find the RSR V2 Anymore.... Damn this is really bugging me. Please give me some help guys.

Dude, I feel your pain, too. My RSR V1 is crap and I'm desperate for a new ring. I saw the RSR w/ cage at KB back in July, but now that I need one, I can't find one. I don't think the RSR EC is worth the $120 (+tax). If you want, you can pick up 2 RSR w/ cage for buy 1 get 1 half off and I will buy one from you (LOL). But I didn't really think about the whole Black Friday thing until right now. Umm, like I saud, I feel your pain and I'm crossing my fingers with a sale at TRU. It would be so awesome if they had a deal like K-Mart did. I'm holding out right now for either 2 things: until the RSR EC gets reduced, or until the RSR HIAC comes out (probably mid-spring). I don't know what to do since the RSR w/ cage is out of the picture for me (and I don't like buying anything online). So...

Well...if I were you I would just buy the RSR V.2 w/ cage. TRU has made no indications about their Black Friday lineup and I doubt when they come up with their BF list I bet the RSR w/ cage won't even be on there.
The Exclusive K-mart ring that was $39.99 for a couple of hours was K-marts major WWE exclusive for the season. I doubt we will see anything like that again.
So Just go out and buy the RSR now.

Plus that K-Mart RSR was ridiculously hard to find in some areas. Didn't even see one anywhere in Jersey last year, even after the sale.
Do you REALLY need a new RSR right this second? If you do, you suck it up and buy the RSR2. But the fact that you are even considering waiting for Black Friday is good enough reason for you to just wait. You never know.

Thanks for the replys so far guys. I think im going to be safe and pick up the RSR v2 by the end of the week. I cant deal with not having a ring in my room. Theres such a big gap in the floor of where it used to be lol. So, If the chamber is on sale black friday after all, I think i'll just grab that too. Thanks for the helps guys

I would buy the RSR2. If you don't actually want a EC (the actual chamber) then don't buy it. If you want a modern ring, get some ring skirts from naparo or someone to fix up your RSR2. Don't wait for something that isn't sure. Because seriously, how could you be disappointed with a RSR2?

I would buy the RSR2. If you don't actually want a EC (the actual chamber) then don't buy it. If you want a modern ring, get some ring skirts from naparo or someone to fix up your RSR2. Don't wait for something that isn't sure. Because seriously, how could you be disappointed with a RSR2? Thats also another great point. I could always made a RSR v2 modern style. I did it with my old one, but my old one is a complete disaster. I think i'll just buy the V2. The chamber is going to run me alot of money wheter it's on sale or not. |

you should hold off. I would be willing to bet that TRU is going to try to move some of the high priced chamber sets. Also if you do some online searchingyou can usualy find posts of Black Friday sales before they are printed in flyers. People from stores with insider info usualy leak the sales online and they are posted. So you will be able to know sooner than yoou normaly might.

I'd play it safe and pick up the RSR V2 for $45 as that is an awesome deal for a RSR. Plus if you wait until Black Friday and TRU doesn't have a sale, the RSR V2 will probably be gone. Then you'd either have to pony up the dough for a full priced RSR EC or pay 60+ bucks for a RSR V2 on eBay.
