So everyone knows the problems with the CM Punk figures where Jakks is using cheap plastic or something. So here I am just bored playing a match with my WrestleMania 23 Punk and Regal on my desk when Punk's arm just starts spining in circles. When I get it I had noticed the arm was a little loose but didn't really bother to bring it back, I figured it would be fine. I guess it's better it happen now that I have the reciept than a few months down the road when I won't be able to get a new one so now tommorow morning I'll be back on my way to TRU to return this.
Does anyone know TRU's policy? Will they do an even exchange as it was obvious open or at least give me credit and just let me purchase a new one? Or will I be stuck putting out another $8?

Before this gets any further off topic let me state that I do have a ring but I hardly ever use it because I hardly ever play to begin with and when I do it's usually just with two figures on my desk. Anyway, back to the topic on hand please. What is TRU's return policy?

Since it's opened I think they will let you do a straight up exchange, but I hope you have the package as well.

it should state the return policy CLEARLY on the reciept....i don' have a TRU receipt on hand, but it would make sense that they should have their policy on the receipt, as receipts from other stores have their return policy's on the receipt.
soooo look at the receipt and see if it's on there...i would be SHOCKED if it wasn't printed on the receipt what their return policy is.

I did look on the receipt before making this post and it said that you must have a receipt or gift receipt which I knew but I wasn't sure if they would take it back now that it's open or not. I know TRU changed their policy awhile back so I was unsure. And yeah Niko I have the reciept and package. I made sure to save both when I noticed the arm was loose just in case.

As long as it's been 40 days( I believe) or less since you bought it, you should be good.

They may put up a stink cause the carton is torn apart, but at the same time Im willing to bet they would just return it straight up as an even exchange.
That sucks the the figs are getting loose. My old r3 figs would be like that all the time. I remember Angle would spin like crazy around the waist.

That really sucks. They really should return it for you. But when it happened to me with a Batista figure they were NASTY as hell. I had bought a Batista and the joints were tight as anything. The figures arms couldnt even move, Along with the legs. So, I tell them what happened, And they woul'dnt listen. I just left and said screw this. I hope everything goes well with you though.

I just got back from TRU and there were plenty of Punk's on the shelf. About 4-5. To update I had no problems at all. They understood and exchanged it no problem.
