Haven't been here for a while, also haven't collected too  . But anyways, ToyFair made me collect again, 'cause of this:   That's god. I mean, god. It's a win. But, a few corrections they should do before releasing this: - Old RAW thunder parts/minitrons. (Make them into new.)
- Make the ramp the old ones made out of that plastic material or something...
- NO CARDBOARD, make it PLASTIC, NO CARDBOARD, just for the screens.
- Make a SmackDown! one for god sakes
- Change John Cena. He's a hogged figure...
- Use the old Hardcore Ring, removable turnbuckles, ring skirts. (more cheaper than RSR, saves money.)
So do you like this set? And when is it expected to come out? Early 2008 should be.. |

They did make an awsome smackdown stage! its called the stage of rage. The raw stage will be very easy to get just like the MITB my TRU has over 100 of MITB so I no Ill get a raw entrance.

if that made you start collecting again then you have very low standards.
But about your points:

the old ramps are superior no doubt. but this one looks interesting.

Look again, it IS plastic.

Its been done. Unlike this the smackdown one isn't real scale. but its a nice set nonetheless.

Thats not the RSR. it is coming with a crappy ring because it will reduce the price tag.
Other notes:
This isn;t the final product, it is merely something they threw together for toy fair. the actual product will be real scale in height (at a staggering 22 inches tall.) and i imagine it will also be 40 inches wide, to merge with the crowd barriers.
I have thought about, and looked over that set a lot. other people will tell you otherwise. i guarantee everything i told you will be correct at time of purchase.

This stage arena was look cool, but I won't buy that because I am scale fussy. And I do wish JAKKS making Real Scale Stage, but it will be expensive.

love the idea of the whole arena type set-up, but something that PROVES it will be better done;
on the second pic on the box look on the rings apron, it has the old WWF scratch logo

Looks like a good set but too bad the ring will suck. Jakks should release another RSR with this set and give us two different ring mats. One should have Smackdown aprons and the other should have RAW aprons.

i think jakks did a decent job. i just really hope the stage is not cardboard. that would suck. but knowing jakks it might be. oo and does anyone know if the breakaway table is an announce table or wooden table?

I hope its cheap like 30/40 bucks. If its cardboard I wont mind. Ill probably get this for a ring to display figs and the barricades

The picture on the box looks better than the actual set up one but im thinking this is all just early work for what will be better next year as the final product.
