Hello. Just got a CS12 Ultimate Warrior on the mail. I'm wondering if the plastic coat he comes with can actually be removed without any risk of damage to the coat itself or the arms of the figure. Has anyone attempted this or know? Karma will be given.

It can only if you use your fingers and opposable thumbs.

I took mine off without any trouble. I just put both arms at a 90 degree angle and pulled it off both arms at the same time.

Yeah, It can be removed. I would be careful doing it though. Im sure it will be somewhat hard to do. I have a CS 12 Warrior Backwards Version Variant Moc and im thinking of opening it. Any suggestions guys?

It's a most cool fig. Just worried about straining the arms or the coat splitting in two (happened to a Mick Foley TTL fig I got - the one where he's got the Attitude Jacket - li'l bugger split in the collar area). Actually thinking of ordering another one down the line, to have without the coat, so he don't trip over it if he gets a seizure when having one of 'em cosmic epiphanies of his...

Yes, it can be removed but you have to be real careful. You might either break the arm or tear the duster.

It is extremely difficult to remove, but yes it can be taken off.

Thanks for all the replies. I will give karma to all who took the time, just that it seems I just can't do it all at once... I did indeed remove the "duster", fearing it would either break or Mr. Ultimate would suffer an injury and be sidelined. Yet he spoke of cosmic starships and deadly super novas which would take apart my soul in quest of justice if I were to screw up the operation, and in fear of retaliation, all went smoothly. It is however quite a task to remove it.

I would remove one of the arms and then take it off, then just put the arm back on. Easiest way to do it.

Mine wasn't any trouble, I just carefully but frimly pulled it over 1 arm and slipped it off the other, it's alot easier if you take the arm(s) off

Yeah it can come off. IT takes some effort but not too much. It has the reinforced arm wholse so i don't think it will rip. But its not somthign you will want to remove and put back on too foten as it is a bit of a pian in the ass.

I had to use a blowtorch to melt the coat off.
Pissed me off.
