Yes that was a shot at Instant Classic's ECW post. Dave Meltzer reported that TNA's first two hour show got a 1.1....surprised?
I'm not. I think it's funny TNA tried to make it seem like it was going to be a huge deal and it basically was two Impact, in terms of ratings. I liked Impact last night but, really TNA shouldn't have acted like they had an ace in the hole. I think this is obvious but for a two hour show, that's shitty.

As soon as I read it I knew you were taking a shot at me I was honestly surprised that they did this well. The show wasn't that good and I figure with stuff like Rhino-Reign, people would tune out. I know people like you who like ECW for some reason make the argument that TNA should be getting better ratings since it has such a better roster. But all of the 4.0 rating people who used to watch Raw are aware of ECW. Those 4.0 rating people aren't all aware that TNA exists. And a lot of people have seen how horribly booked TNA is in the past that they won't give it another chance.

I'm not surprised at all to be honest. I've been saying for months now that two hours isn't gonna make much of a difference as far as booking and ratings go. It's still the same ole' TNA only instead of one hour of crapthey give us two hours of shit.
