There's people out there who collect that style of figure...So they are trying to appeal to them.

Just a way for Jakks to get more money out of kids. IMO they look like crap, and are a waste of time to make.

Dunno about the vinyl aggression line (the 'egg-headed' figs), but I love the look of the deluxe vinyl line (the 'cartoony-looking' figs) specifically the 'Taker and Umaga. But it looks like a line, similar to UMF and Ring giants where people only cherry pick the few they want out of the loads that are produced, so even though I like them, you've got to wonder about the cost effectiveness of them.

They look stupid to me, I don't know why Jakks is going to release them. They need to focus more on the RA line. Stop taking ing short cuts while charging us more for a figure while they are saving more and more.

It's obvious why Jakks came up with the Egg Heads - one mold for an entire line of figures. Rather than do a proper Hornswoggle that needs all new molds they can just print that design on an egg and pretend that counts as "Hornswoggle's first release". I reckon the Eggs will be really overpriced too because it's a trendy new territory for Jakks and they're probably hoping they will fit in with Kubriks and get sold in comic shops or skate shops alongside designer sunglasses and other fashion accessories. I doubt they will fit in with that and I can't imagine them being sold in TRU either. I think the cartoony ones look pretty good but Jakks are making them out to be more special than they are like they did with UMF which turned out really cheap and nasty. The cartoon style is a nice style imo but there was a strange selection shown at Toy Fair and I can see them ending up releasing a really random selection so that no one will display them together and will just buy one or two of their favourites. I really wish Jakks would concentrate more on RA and CS but they obviously want to squeeze as much money out of the license as possible before the end and they think the way to do that is by spreading themselves thinly over as many lines as possible.

They'll bomb just like the UMF and clog shelves until they get discontinued
