So today I saw that Benoit wasn't cut out of the newest Monday Nitro on WWE 24/7 ...and I then found his WM23 figure back on the pegs at TRU this afternoon. Odd that he was back on WWE TV and in the stores on the same day. (I was at this same TRU yesterday and he wasn't there)  I bought the Benoit figures for the heads so I can do some head swaps with other Benoit figures. And the Vince will become a HHH in a suit. |

I've been seeing more and more of these popping up with TRU getting rid of their overstock.

yeah ive seen one at my TRU pop up
its probably the ones they had on the shelves at the time of the tragedy and were told to take them down, now the store managers dont want their back rooms clogged with a murderers figures.

Other than sittng behind Bret at his HOF speach (which aired this moth) and walking to ringside during one of Eddie's Ladder matches(last month) today was the first time since last July that I've seen anything Chis on WWE 24/7. They kept editing his matches/interviews out.

Yeah I noticed that the other day in TRU that a lot of WM23 Benoits were on the shelves. It was really weird seeing them.

It wasn't a match, but it wasn't a cameo either. It was a major interview with Piper where Flair, Benoit and Mongo came out...and he slapped Piper in the crippler crossface. But normally these type Horsemen interviews have been edited out. Benoit hasn't been on a Nitro in ages...Yet he was a major player in the company at this point.

you gotta realize, the people at tru(unless they are wrestling fans), probably forgot about the whole ordeal by now. and they got a box of wm figs, theyre guna put the whole thing out and probably not even take the time to look at the names.

It really all depends on the TRU you go to. A few times, I've gone to a TRU in my area and they've had the same Benoit figures on the shelves. The next week, they'll be gone, a few weeks later they'll be put back on. Some store managers likely have forgotten about the recall since it happened so long.
