 This is best close up shot I've seen it. Of course I've been seeing him wear it since Sting took his old one, but why is he still in the red mask? It looks terrible, don't you think? The black triangle looks horrendous. It doesn't scream "Abyss" to me like the black one did. This looks more amateurish if you know what I mean. Return him to the black one, TNA. |

Then again, this is coming from a company who uses a guy named "Black Reign" as a legitimate character...

He wore the black one for years and he just turned face so I guess he just wanted to change it up a little.

I honestly don't mind it. It's just a mask, not like he completely changed his gimmick or anything.

Dont worry, soon he'll lose the mask and his hair, feud with his undead brother, win the tag titles with Xpac and then feud with him, have a guy looking just like him when he debuted start stalking him, and star in a TNA movie about a guy the rips off peoples noses.

if he didn't switch back to the black one that one day, they could play it off as him never getting the black one back and not wanting to show his face.

I never realized how crappy that mask is. It looks much better on TV. Either way, I was never a fan of the red mask.
