Here's another handy guide to one part of WF new users always want to know....
Here's a complete step-by-step guide to putting a picture in your signature: 1. Click on the "profile" image at the top of any forum page. It looks like this: 2. Once your Profile page is opened, you'll find a bunch of stuff you can change. The thing you want to do is get to the "Signature" area. It's the large white text-entering space at the bottom of the page. 3. You'll need to enter a code to put a picture in. The code to use looks like this: [*img]URL here[/img] Be sure to remove the asterisk (*) or it won't work! 4. In the "URL here" area of the above code, you'll need to enter the web address of a picture. An example is the WF logo at the top of the page, which has the URL of www.wrestlingfigs.com/images/wflogofinal.gif5. Once you have the URL in, click on the "Change Profile" button at the very bottom. Voila! You're done! [Note: be sure it's within the size range given in the TOS]

Well, this WF logo is 284x79. So, the length can be a little bit longer than this, and the height of this picture is a little over one-fourth of 300.

A few notes:
1. Only one image, unless they're both quite small. 2. Around 300 x 300, a little bit over is alright, most of the time. 3. No animated .gif's 4. If something from your signature is removed, this will appear in your signature:
This is done for our 56 kbps modem users, who, I believe, still constitute a large portion of the forums. Multiple images/.gif's vastly slow their loading time down.

it never works for me it oways brings up a web site and no pic i need help Well, there could be a number of problems. Are you using a "real" picture uploaded on the web, with the full web address of that picture? Did you do the code right to put a picture up? Here's another way to put a picture somewhere...in the "Add tags" area when you're making a new post, click on the fourth little picture from the left in the bottom row. It looks like Then, replace the "URL" with the actual URL of the image and voila!

Change your name, we already have a "Hitman". He doesnt have to change his name it has these things: ~~~~ in the name, so its ~hitman~ not hitman, so there is a difference in the name. [glow=red,2,300]CodyX36[/glow]

How do I put a picture in if it is saved in my docomeents? You must upload it to the web. Some free servers exist to upload pics (think Tripod, Yahoo, etc.) but most of those don't allow remote posting (i.e. putting the pic somewhere else, like WF). So, your best bets are either to use a picture found already on the web, or to find someone who can upload it for you - check the graphics board people for that.

What u said: 3. You'll need to enter a code to put a picture in. The code to use looks like this: [*img]URL here[/img] Be sure to remove the asterisk (*) or it won't work! Than why put the asterisk there in the first place??
