Who cares? It's about time TNA starts building their own stars and not taking advantage of the buildup they had in previous promotions, whether it be ROH or WWE. TNA always does that ****. There are very few guys that TNA build up. The main ones I can think of are Sabin, Petey, Abyss, and maybe a couple more. The rest came from WWE or ROH. I guarantee you if there was no ROH, Joe, Daniels or Styles probably wouldn't be there. So TNA didn't have to work at all on building their characters and popularity. The part that pisses you off is not that they take them from ROH and push them. It's that they basically take credit for it. Yeah, whatever... Lazy mother ers

How is he a "WWE reject"? Because he worked there? Hey, CM Punk & Mickie James are TNA Rejects then.. They left TNA... if anything, TNA is the CM Punk and Alexis Laree reject. Plus, they worked for ROH first...

Lazy mother ers Actually, Styles and Daniels were in WCW at the tail end of its existence. I suspect that more than anything had a part to play in them getting hired into TNA. Styles also wasn't particularly built by ROH, I think he pretty much did it on his own working everywhere he could. Daniels worked the indies for five years before going to ROH and he had already created the "Fallen Angel" character by then. ROH didn't build him either, in my opinion. These two guys built themselves if anything. Neither ROH or TNA deserve credit for their characters, they just took advantage of what they had done on their own.

I think most people had forgotten about their WCW run by then. TNA might have eventually brought them in by 2004. I assume. But I seriously doubt TNA would have gotten AJ and Daniels so soon if they hadn't been on ROH DVDs receiving a great amount of hype from wrestling insiders around the world.

Why do I have a feeling, not only will he probably not be a star, but he'd be paired up with Hoyt & Rave.
If only Matthews could straighten his act up and get himself in ECW. Hell imagine a feud between him and Morrison, it'd be interesting to say the least. But all point-less dreaming... Horray if they sign him, but he should use his name value to work the top indys for a while.

Mercury was never contracted to TNA before.

Honestly, does it matter? This guy still has to make a living. Yes, there's the indys but come on.. he'll have exposer in TNA then some indy promotions. I doubt the last thing on his mind when he started talking to TNA was that the IWC would look at him as a WWE Reject.

Honestly, this doesn't matter either way for TNA. They will never be much bigger than they already are, so the "building their own stars" thing isn't really a factor at this point.

a bunch of TNA guys have been brought into WWE..you people really cant call them rejects unless they are washed up bums like 3D but Kid Kash Spanky Monty Brown Matt Sydal Sabu (considering TNA picked him up first) CM Punk (they tried getting The Naturals) Senshi (when they had him for a little over a month) AJ Styles (worked alot) also that dude that looks like The Rock. and alot other names our from TNA that went to WWE or other companies.

I'm going to assume Mr.TNA didn't see where they gave their explanation of a "WWE Reject".

I consider them a "[Insert Promotion here] Reject" if they achieved atleast some kind of success in the promotion. CM Punk never won any title, all he amounted to was being Raven's bitch followed by being James Mitchells' bitch. Same goes for Mickie... though I thought she got picked up midway through her run with TNA. Kennedy only wrestled a handful of nothing matches. These so called "TNA Rejects" you guys are naming to make yourselves feel secure are more people who were looking for the next best temporary exposure or an extra pay check. No success ensued for these guys in TNA thus not making them TNA rejects just because they worked a few matches... Hell in the case of Punk, he left on his own terms, same with Kennedy, Mickie was picked up, London left. No one was actually rejected from TNA, they either left or were scooped up before TNA dropped them... Bingo. To all TNA fans, everytime you dipuit the "reject" issue, just look at this post.

Spanky worked for WWE before he ever worked in TNA .so you are wrong about that sabu also worked in WWE back in original ECW invasion in 1997. senshi aka lo ki & aj styles both worked for WWe before TNA . i have matches of both of them in WWF before TNA . so most of guys you named . WWF or WWE has already had them in a way.

They all left TNA except for the case of Senshi and AJ in which I don't even consider them being part of the WWE at any point. Everyone else left TNA on their own terms and were never actually fired from TNA therefore they were never rejected from TNA...
