Joey Matthews (Joey Mercury) and TNA are in major talks.
TNA wants him to start immeditly and want him for Bound For Glory. They're having trouble arranging a flight that would get him into Atlanta on time due to overseas indy commitments.

This is like the 1,000,000,000,000 time TNA has brought a WWE let-go . (No offense to Joey because hes a decent wrestler)

How is he a "WWE reject"? Because he worked there? Hey, CM Punk & Mickie James are TNA Rejects then..

Yeah Really stop with this Reject crap its old , Joey has worked for both WCW and ECW in the past and could do good in the X Division. I always liked him more than Nitro/Morison.
Also Ken Kennedy MVP Cm Punk and a bunch of other Talent are TNA rejects aswell if you guys love that term.

Interesting. I've never seen him do singles work. I liked him with MNM and I heard he did good work with Christian York. I'd rather see him than VooDoo Kin Mafia.

Joey Matthews is a great wrestler that wasn't used to his fullest potential in WWE. He'll hopefully make a good addition to their X Division.

I consider them a "[Insert Promotion here] Reject" if they achieved atleast some kind of success in the promotion. CM Punk never won any title, all he amounted to was being Raven's bitch followed by being James Mitchells' bitch. Same goes for Mickie... though I thought she got picked up midway through her run with TNA. Kennedy only wrestled a handful of nothing matches. These so called "TNA Rejects" you guys are naming to make yourselves feel secure are more people who were looking for the next best temporary exposure or an extra pay check. No success ensued for these guys in TNA thus not making them TNA rejects just because they worked a few matches... Hell in the case of Punk, he left on his own terms, same with Kennedy, Mickie was picked up, London left. No one was actually rejected from TNA, they either left or were scooped up before TNA dropped them...

Matthews made his name in the WWE. That would label him as a WWE reject. Punk made his name on the indy circuit. If you were to ask people if either Punk or Mickie worked for TNA they would probably say no. People do know that Mercury worked for the WWE though.

(No offense to Joey because hes a decent wrestler) Joey matthews (joey Mercury) is not a wwe reject because Joey worked for TNA before WWE . joey was on the first TNA show. so there no way he is WWE reject . he is a returning TNA wrestler.

Then awsner this question if you don't mind. How is it that people who come to TNA from WWE are "WWE rejects" but when someone comes to WWE from say ECW why aren't they "ECW Rejects"? Because, the company no longer exists?
Plus, people call Ron Killings, Raven, Rhino, Scott Steiner, & Tomko "WWE Rejects". What the hell did any of them do in WWE that could be "sucess"?

Agreed I understand about CM Punk cause he made his name in Ring Of Honor and Other Indys , But most of those names got nothing but s*** in the WWE but looked at as Jobbers for life.

Ron Killings, Raven, Rhino, Scott Steiner and Tomko were all released from the WWE... there by making them rejects... CM Punk, Ken Kennedy and Mickie James simply didn't want to be in TNA any more and left... big difference.

Well, then Mercury is a TNA reject that WWE signed, which they then fired him. Am I the only one who remembers Mathews being on a few, episodes of impact! and eXplosion.

But he wasn't fired from TNA... not that I can remember. I do remember him wrestling a couple matches for TNA but he probably was never actually signed to a contract and therefore never released from his contract...

if he has an mnm type gimmick in tna then call him a wwe reject, but if he is just joey matthews ala ecw and perviously in tna than i wouldn't call him that

How is he a "WWE reject"? Because he worked there? Hey, CM Punk & Mickie James are TNA Rejects then.. CM Punk and Mickie James went on to make more money and have more exposure than they ever would've dreamed in TNA... hardly 'rejects'. Plus, WWE's roster isn't 50% externally established stars like TNA's roster is... obviously we're gonna roll our eyes when TNA brings in another castaway. Bottom line, TNA would've never been interested in Joey Matthews had he not been a relatively successful tag team champion in WWE.
