Conflict backstage in TNA is said to have grown significantly between Jeff Jarrett and Kurt Angle over the past week. Both want to get into Dixie Carter’s ear to have a major impact on what goes on in the company. Jarrett’s allies, most notably B.G. James, are going around trying to convince other wrestlers in the company to take sides.
Jarrett has a few people who are loyal to him, like B.G. James, Jeremy Borash, Abyss, Dutch Mantel, and others, but most want to pick the side they think wins at the end. As far as both booking and long-term power, the situation is described as The Angle family and Vince Russo against Jeff Jarrett and Dutch Mantel.
The end result of the situation is hard to predict. There is no way they will cut Kurt Angle or remove him from the top (which is generally what would happen in a situation like this). Jeff Jarrett on the other hand is a majority owner in the company and has steered the ship since day one.

Kind of a lose, lose situation.

Now this would make for a good "in-ring" storyline!

I'd side with Kurt Angle... not only is Kurt Jarrett's meal ticket now that the X-division is destroyed, but Jarrett and Mantel are completely out of touch with what today's wrestling fans want.

This is something TNA really does not need right now. A locker room divided is horrible for a wrestling company, and soon they will realize that.

Hah. I don't even know how to reply to this. But If I was asked, I'd go with Angle.
Why? I'd have a better chance of getting noticed, higher on the card and having the best matches of my career, with Angle.

If Russo is aligned with Angle, then I'd side with Jarrett. Why? Because he practically calls the shots, he has the history, and when in doubt, Jarrett could easily be TNA's top heel again. With Angle, what would I get? There's no way Jarrett or Dutch would book me against Angle, and if I sided with him, Vince Russo would try to "push" me. Yeah, because I want Russo in charge of my career!

Sure he could... but then TNA can kiss any chance of being successful goodbye because if Kurt can't increase TNA's fanbase, Jarrett sure as hell won't. Kurt has nothing to lose by leaving TNA... he could go back to WWE and become world champ tomorrow while TNA's ratings drop to .6's and .7's. This is what Jarrett had coming to him for investing the entire company in Kurt Angle... everyone and everything else was shat on as a result, and now Kurt has all the leverage in the world.

lol, the TNA Civil War
stuff like this is what could cause TNA to go under. The biggest problem being one of the performers owning the company...

You're logic is flawed if you think a guy can't effect ratings going out just because he didn't effect ratings going in. I can imagine a portion of TNA's fanbase getting TOTALLY tired of the current booking, and might view Angle's departure as the last straw...

Angle=Money Jarrett=Poison
Angle=Deserves his spot Jarrett=Part owner, made himself a main eventer
I'd side with Angle. Angle deserves his spot. JJ is a midcarder who was lucky enough to make the right friends.

Jarret owns the company. He can do what he wants and Angle needs to stay out of it.
