Chris Jericho said it best on the 'UNreal Story of Pro Wrestling': "For those who believe, no explanation is needed; and for those who don't, no explanation will ever be good enough" Thats such a great quote. And can have just as a profound meaning for soooo many other things.

I just laugh along with my "casual wrestling" mates. We joke about how tough Bobby Lashley is and how Jeff hardy should have won the MITB. lol.

I have been watching for 30 years and have been taking crap for it the whole 30 years but I will never stop watching it. It is the greatest sport in the world. I always tell people that bash me about it "You might not like it but you will learn to love it because it is the best thing going in the world today!"

I have no problem being a fan, I have been for over 25 years. I haven't watched any new stuff (RAW/Smackdown/TNA) in about 3 or 4 years. I have caught a bit of ECW and found it good although a bit rushed. I am delighted with what WWE has been doing on DVD and bringing out some great stuff from the past, I watch tons of older dvd's and allot of whats on 24/7 Benoit could make it more difficult, but in my situation (a "classic wrestling" fan) I can avoid most of it. Heck, I haven't seen him wrestle since Wrestlemania 20 and as far as I'm concerned wrestling in its most recent incarnation can just dry up and go away, I would much prefer if it just got better though, less soap opera, more wrestling. The men in tights groping each other thing is just a ridiculous and juvenile argument from people too unintelligent to put what bothers them about wrestling into coherent words. That is usually their issue, and not mine as a fan. Everybody has pastimes that someone else might find ridiculous. One of my best friends watches Desperate Housewives religiously and has the DVD's, I don't get it, but I don't have to be an ass about it. For the most part, I'm in the same boat as you. I'm a classic wrestling fan who would rather watch a wwe dvd with classic footage rather than the crap they're giving us today. I agree 100 percent about what you said about the stupid people that give you the "two man in tights groping each other" line. I've gotten that one from a lot of immature punks!

I wipe my ass with what people think. I'm a natural-born smartass so, it's easy for me to think of comebacks.
