The largest decline in match quality happened between the years 2005-2006. Everything about WWE has declined since they went back to USA.

I think a lot of main event bouts still have great quality, especially those including HBK, Edge, etc ..., but two things play a factor. The realism, intensity of the feuds are not as great as they were. The old Steve Austin v.s. Bret Hart fued for example ... the intensity is through the roof and I don't think feuds are as artfully crafted like they were during that time. Another thing I noticed is, while the main event bouts are still amazing many times, the undercard is suffering. The opening matches, the mid-tier bouts are far more lackluster than they used to be. Wrestling will always have its ups and downs though.

the match quality is fine as long as Cena, Khali, and Umaga arent involved. Its more the feuds.

The feeling comes and goes. Some matches are bad, some are good.

Some are still good, but overall, there's been a decline.

Match quality seems to increase when business decreases.
I believe the mid 1990s prove that.

not as much as all of you bitch about...if the majority of you weren't nitpicking every decision WWE makes you might realize all the good ones/matches one day
