I think after the actions of Chris Benoit I have changed my whole perspective on wrestling.
No longer will I admire the wrestlers as people, but rather their athletic ability only. The events involving Chris Benoit have made me realise that we don't really know these men and women that we see on TV each week any more than a stranger in the street.
I think some of us are admiring characters rather than real people and thats something that I can no longer do.
I admired Chris Benoit as a wrestler/man beforehand now I realise that its not possible to admire someone what you see on TV because you don't truley know them at all.
