For me, it's not even that his move set his limited. The Rock, Austin and HBK all have their "5 Moves of Death." It's not that his gimmick is stale, it's not THAT terrible. It's just that he NEEEEEVER loses. It's obnoxious.

I don't have a problem with Cena. Just wish he'd drop the belt a little bit here and there. I wouldn't say so much like The Rock, I figured he was being made into the next Hulk Hogan. I know that's a strecth but if you look between the two you might see a similiar comparasion during there runs as top face champions.

I used to not like him but now i just dont care ..usually if hes in the main event, i'll just not watch it and turn the channel instead of watching him overcome the odds then bitch on here like most people do. See I know its not his fault, vince wants to keep him on top and what the boss saids go, you people act like if cnea forced people and himself and vince to let him win, the only one forcing somebody is vince mking cena win and cena cant change that. another thing, john Cena is wwe's top money maker so at least if he does suck and have the belt, at least hes making the company money unlike other superstars that hold a champion, suck and make no money.

They did it with Benoit when he lost the title to Orton, and Benoit's character up until June '07 was building up to become another world champion. If Benoit had stayed world champ up until his death, he would have grown stale and boring like Cena has. Cena has held the title for 2 (3?) years now and the only people who are taking interest to him winning over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again are 12 year olds who have only just began to watch WWE and who haven't seen the likes of SCSA and Mankind wrestle during the attitude era. Keeping Cena as champ is selling his products, figures and god knows what else sell fast, and therefore brings in big money for WWE. Ever wonder why there are soooooooo may John Cena figure repaints? Because they sell, and around 50% of the wrestling fans are aged under 18. Also, parents take their youngsters to WWE events to see their hero - John Cena, in the main event. Even more money made for WWE. Without Cena champ, WWE would have to build up another character, and we know WWE can be lazy ***holes sometimes. It's an endless cycle, Cena wont be losing the title for a long time, it's bull **** I know.... typical wwe mark,cena has the title for 3 years,give it to somewon else,i dont care who,as long as he dont got it |
