I just watched Smackdown this morning, and while noticing MVPs awesome new outfit... I noticed it said something down his arm.
It took me a while to finally be able to read it all and it read:
PROTECT THIS RING
Not sure if this has been explained, but does anyone know the meaning to this.
It seems deep.

I doubt it's deep.
There's NFL/NBA or something commercials running right now that use the slogan "Protect this House!"... meaning their home stadium.
My guess is it's a rip on that, since MVP is all sporty... and such.

Its not about a super bowl ring or a championship. The NBA slogan is to protect their home stadium, their "house" so MVP put a spin on it to protect the ring, the wrestling ring. If you haven't noticed he makes lots of references to NBA, "ballin" and the jump shot taunt.

Didn't sports already meet wrestling when Lawrence Taylor met Bam Bam Bigelow in a five star classic in 1995?

It's a reference to the Under Armor commercials.
Under-Armor is a sports clothing manufacturer who gained recognition from players within the football industry for making clothing that players could wear underneath of their pads that would keep them either cool or warm depending on the weather. I know because back when I played high school football I used to use their clothing quite regularly and it works very well.
You may have seen the "click-clack" commercials on television fairly recently.

This company called "under Armor" has a line of sports equipment, thee slogan is "Protect This House", because MVP attire is loosely based on the stuff Underarmor sells, hence the "protect this ring"
