I just listened to the KLAC-AM interview...apparently he's sick of travel and having to go from "LA to Boston" to do a frog splash and a spin kick...so he's taking some time off.
Atleast he stopped on his own terms I suppose.

Boston? What PPV was just in Boston, sounds like a bold statement, with insentive behind it.
I hope Van Dam is not done with the business, though I do hope he rests for the rest of 2007.

I hope RVD excels in whatever he decides to do from now on. I'm not some stupid fan who says "I wish RVD would come back...blah..blah" The man needed a break he has provided some great moments during his amazing career and deserves some breathing space.

I don't understand why he would lose his smile. Sure, that would of been terrible to travel that far to job but at least he's still getting paid good money.

You could say it's a burn out. Probably wants to take a break and I say that's fine. If he wants to rest, let him do so. Sure it'll suck not seeing him but it probably is for the best.

You could say it's a burn out. In more than one way.

Meh, whatever, I won't miss RVD I never really liked him so if he never came back to the WWE I wouldn't be bothered.

Honestly, good for RVD. The man knew when enough was enough. He wasn't going anywhere and it's good that he took a break unless he would've seriously injured himself.

Congratulations, you missed it! ...wait, "what is it," you ask? Well, "it" is the reference of course. He didn't actually lose his smile, who ever made the topic made a play on the famous Shawn Michaels incident (that I had posted the video of earlier in the thread) where Shawn "lost his smile". It should also be noted that money isn't everything.

I don't really think Rvd is burnt out rather I feel as if he wants to do more and the wwe won't let him since they hold him back...that's why Rvd loved ecw so much.
