Everything mildly good and used elsewhere is banned in the WWE. We get left with endless ddt's, off the rope forearms and spears.

That move is dangerous.
For anybody, imo.

WWE is the only promotion to actually ban this move. There was no reason for why they banned it either. It didn't cause any injuries. Homicide and Drake Younger still use it. There has yet to be an injury. I don't understand.

Gregory Helms used to use it, i think. IMO it's one of the most dangerous moves in wrestling, although there may or may not have been any sort of injury yet. I think for the danger of it, is a good enough reason for it to be banned, especially with the media ready to jump on anything bad they hear about wrestling, and for the safety of the performers themselves. I do enjoy the move, though.

such a SAFE move, its rediculous it was banned. Exactly. These guys were trained. They know how to take these moves. If they didn't, they wouldn't be wrestlers. All you do is tuck your chin into your chest.

You can't compare the WWE and other promotions though, wrestlers in the WWE are worth millions upon millions in name alone. Now WWE has too look after those assets, if Shawn Michaels or Undertaker hada career ending injury as a result of a risky move it would mean a loss in loads of money. No lets look at these indy promotions where one guys worth the same as the guy next to him, a guys goes down, boo-hoo, maybe a little loss profit if he was a bigger name but thats not that big of a deal.

Ya! Screw people's well being. People are useless unless they can turn a profit! Seriously I have never heard of anyone EVER getting injured form a vertibreaker in any promotion.

Personally, I don't think it's that bad of a move. If done properly, which the trained professionals would do, it can be a great move that looks quite harmful.

What was wrong with the move in the first place. I really thought it wasnt even dangerous. It really sucks that they also banded the 450 and ssp. To me those moves really made cruserweights "high-flying". But now its just pretty boring.

Ok, w/e, a guy getting hurt whether in WWE or in an Indy or w/e should be looked at the same. O and btw, just because they aren't big name guys, doesn't mean people wouldn't care because everyone who watches indies would care.

O and btw, just because they aren't big name guys, doesn't mean people wouldn't care because everyone who watches indies would care. I'm not saying it's right I'm saying that's how it is. Jeez, people here have a really sugar coated perception of life. Life isn't fair, people are treated differently, valued differently and looked upon differently. Is it fair? No, but nothing is. Business is business, that's why I never hold anything agaisnt the WWE personally. The WWE is looking out for what they think is best for them, as are most companies, if they do something you think is in bad taste then don't give them your business, it's pretty damn simple. I'm so tired of people bitching and moaning about how this wrestler is treated better then this wrestler and it is not fair, well guess what, life is a bitch. Some guys mean more to the company then others, and yes they have a different set of rules because of that and they are allowed to get away with more. In fact that's the way life works, epending on how society views you, you can get away with more, yeah it's not just and stuff, but it's life so you can sit there and whine or you can try to make something of it. If you guys think the business world is bunch of guys going "Hey, we can't do that, it's not right." Then may God help us all and how do you still have money.
