The attitude era, for the most part, sucked just as much as today's does. Huh??? Yeah if you check the ratings back than and now. Their will be a huge difference. Thanks. It might be your personal opinion but the way you imply it without any reason, just makes you sound like a troll.

The attitude era, for the most part, sucked just as much as today's does. But it happened ten years ago! It has to be good. The People's Elbow is the best move in wrestling history! Huh??? Yeah if you check the ratings back than and now. Their will be a huge difference. Thanks. It might be your personal opinion but the way you imply it without any reason, just makes you sound like a troll. High ratings? It MUST be good.

Stephanie's in no way better than Lita, if that's what you were trying to imply. And Vince cares just as much if not more about TnA in the Attitude era than he does now. As I stated before: "Before there was Lita, there was Stephanie"? They both were great wrestlers during the Attitude Era. I didn't mean it that way, I actually meant it in the hoe type deal with Jericho calling Stephanie a hoe before Lita was called a hoe. Reason I put that in was because sex was one of the main points of the Attitude Era. And btw, TNA wasn't around until 2002.

Ok 1.Nobody said you had to like it 2.we never said it was the greatest move in wrestling. 3.You can not deny that the Attitude Era was not better than today's era.

Well if you grew up on an era of course you would say that was the best as you are more than likely to lean towards that. Everything is the best when you are the kid in your eyes. If you're a kid and grew up now, like it or not you probably think this is the best.
Its always going to be this way thats why i ignore it rather than get angry or debate it. What you grow up with or start with is usually what you like the most. But obviously that isnt ALWAYS the case.

You wrote that like your the first person to touch this subject. You cant possibly expect the wrestlers from the attitude era to stay around forever do you? Stone cold can't wrestle anymore, The Rock had a new career, and some people leave the business. And as for the divas, you think people like Sable and The Kat were hired for their wrestling ability? come on! Vince is doing his job by hiring new guys to pave the way for the future of wrestling. 10 years from now, people will be going "remember when we had feuds like John Cena vs. Edge? and HHH vs. HBK? Remember when we had teams like Hass & Benjamin and the Hooliganz?" and Vince will be trying to have those feuds again to segway one era into another, and have a taste of yesteryear, today. Without John Cena and Batista, where would we be? Rock vs. Austin for the 30th time? WWE would be out of business if all these new guys werent here. and i dont think you still want people like sable vs. ivory in about 10 years in a bra and panties match when theyre going on 50 and are a decade away from being the new Mae and Moolah. And hellooo? A handful of todays Divas acctually can wrestle. They hired Candice Michelle on her looks alone, and now she acctually can wrestle. Her along with Victoria, Mickie James, and others are the DIvas of today and tomorrow. Im not even gonna comment on "Cena cant wrestle" as its been proven time and time again that he can. what you and others want now are the 80's again. Where every match is 60 mins and has amazing technical wrestling and champions that have "more than 5 moves". sure that would be nice, but where the entertainment? Thats what keeps people's (mostly younger peoples) attention. the storylines and entertaining stuff keeps peoples attention. it is called World Wrestling ENTERTAINMENT, isnt it? and theres surley enuf good matches to keep your attention every now and then as well. Really, if you have a problem watching todays wrestling, i feel sorry for you because from your point of view, its gonna get worse because in 5-10 years, possibly earlier, say goodbye to undertaker, Shawn Michaels, possibly HHH from in-ring competition and anyone else from the Attitude Era. From my standpoint tho, its only going to keep getting better.

Technically, professional wrestling hasn't been "real" in over 100 years.

At the end of the day...can you name any other guys at the moment that are able to meet SCSA or Rock potential? For me the only possibilties are Kennedy and I believe whatever peoples opinions are. Cena is there too. If you were given the option of being World Champ for a year...however bored the fans are of u, u wudnt turn it down!
Also like others have said the Attitude Women werent employed for their wrestling abilities, i mean they could but still...u have only have to look at them to know that.
I personally think some of the story lines were good...but I imagine its just that over the years your mind has eliminated all the bad bits.

Everybody will have these convos in the future, the Cena marks of now will look back on him as we do The Rock and Austin and marvel on how they did it better back then.
But really, nowadays there is very rarely any backstage action, all fueds seem to begin by someone running in and attacking someone else, without the classic insult and love triangle kind of fueds that the attitude and early 2000s era was famous for. Wrestling is boring now because: 1.We have exceedingly annoying commentators who almost never commentate on the match like they used to, case in point JBL is always twisting Cole's words around and using phrases like "He's at the top of his game" or "These two superstars go at it week after week, night after night, and they will not back down" etc., without doing so much as to commentating on the match itself. 2.Limited roster. Even in 2003 we had a great roster-Lesnar, Hogan, Ultimo, Sean O Haire and Rey when he could actually wrestle properly, and Cena was the underdog jobber that broke free and delivered some great disses to his opponents that were always funny and made you believe that his opponent was about to knock the flying crap out of him. And comedy was involved too, Spanky's great parody of Cena with the clock on a chain. 3. Limited movesets. WWE seems to take it upon themselves to ban every decent move, so we're left with 10 moves, those being Cena's 5 moves, the lateral press, body punch, low blow etc. Boooooring! Where are the classic wrestling moves like Piledrivers, Powerbombs and Gorilla Presses? All gone because Vince doesn't want parents to sue him for their children doing these moves and seriously injuring themselves, despite the omnipresent "Don't try this" ads they put in the show. 4. Straight wrestling all the time. There is no variety! Back in the day we would have a couple of straight wrestling matches and some hardcore matches, ladder matches with cruiserweight insanity and a closely fought battle for the WHC, but these days Cena basically does prolonged squash matches and that's it over. There are few cliffhangers like there used to be too. The new writers they hired have gone from low to new low. 5. Few backstage segments. There are very few of these, back in the day they would get you pumped for the various matches with backstage confrontations, hardcore battles, APA and comedy skits, for example Rock and Hurricane which I admit wasn't that great but it brought some contrast to the matches. There are also far fewer matches per night then there used to be.

A champion that can't wrestle? I stopped reading after that... John Cena is the best professional in the world today. Pro wrestling isn't being a technical god, being able to have 1,000 moves in your arsenal and using them all in a one hour match. Pro wrestling is connecting with the fans, getting a reaction from your big moves. Which is what Cena does better than anybody. And on the mic, the majority of the fans hang on every word that comes out of his mouth. Cena is a huge star, the biggest since The Rock, and he aint going anywhere. Couldn't have put it better myself. John Cena is an amazing character and an amazing worker. It's not his fault there are no other worthy opponents in the main event scene right now (except maybe RKO). He deserves everything he gets... except the boo's.

What makes John Cena better then everyone else though? Nothing. Sure he is a nice guy outside of the ring but so is most the roster if they aren't playing in character.Nobody else is even given the chance to be taken seriously as a main eventer because Cena will simply win, no matter how bad he was beat down during the match. If The Rock or Austin was booked like they were Superman too then half the fans would boo them as well.

Hmmm, Booker, Orton, Kennedy,Triple H is coming back in like 3 weeks, Umaga? Hmmmmm, no worthy opponents?! Sorry buddy, thats not a legitimate arguement.

it;s getting kind of redundant now. we know wwe isn't as good as the Attitude Era. it doesn't need to be said a billion times.
