Dont you feel sorry for all the little ones who are just starting to watch WWE in its current state? Too bad they missed the best years in wrestling, the attitude era.

I bet they will find this era brilliant. Remember they will be young and guys like Cena and Batista will be loved by them.

The Attitude Era is NOWHERE near the best ever. WWF 1985-1996 AND WCW 1990-1993 were both better eras.

No. I feel more sorry for people who live in the past. Touche. Whether you believe it or not, this is the era the young fans will grow up and remember as 'the good times'.

WWE is about Entertainment. Less Wrestling. And the entertainment is sucking big ass now.

I hated the attitude era. It was the same thing every week with Austin/Rock, Austin/Undertaker, Rock/Undertaker ......it's kinda like the Cena thing is now only now there are a lot better mid-card matches. I liked a few aspects of the attitude era, like a few of the lower-end story lines like G-TV and stuff. The best time for wrestling for me was late 80's to around late 97/very early 98 and 2003-2005. Maybe when I'm older I'll learn to like the attitude era from my teenage years like I do the federation years from when I was a kid, I don't know. That's just my take.

No. I feel more sorry for people who live in the past. Then you must really feel sorry for me as I think the best wrestling was in the late 70's to end of the 80's. ;D

No. I feel more sorry for people who live in the past. Yes. The fans in the past think wrestling right now is crap, and unrealistic and boring. New fans think wrestling now is the best thing that could happen. I wish I was like that...

WWE is geared towards the younger kids now adays. Not the demographic of 19-40 year olds anymore

But to kids growing up watching it nowadays, they wont think the current WWE Situation is poor, as they never lived in the Attitude Era, so assume the current Product to be good.
They would kill to see Batista, John Cena, Randy Orton, DX Live, they will be their childhood heros.

The Attitude Era is NOWHERE near the best ever. WWF 1985-1996 AND WCW 1990-1993 were both better eras. I couldnt agree more. Even though ratings wise and income wise the attitude era was probably one of if not the biggest times in wrestling, early 80s to mid 90s is where all the talent was. Everything you cherished in the attitude era (Hogan, Hall, Nash, Sting, HBK, Hart Foundation) we created, enjoyed and rose to stardom in the 80s-90s (Hulkamania, Razor Ramon, Diesel, Sufer Sting, The Rockers, Hart Foundation) The one thing i see the entertainment era doing is creating stars like the 80s and 90s did. When the attitude era was around the stars of that group were created in the 80s. But when the 80s were around there really wasnt the stars of the 60s and 70s. Race, Brisco, Funk, Sammartino had all pretty much been left behind. As the "golden era" and "attitude era" fade away into the entertainment era new stars are being born who werent around for the attitude era. Guys like Cena, Lashley, Orton, Batista

BUT, dwelling on that isn't going to change what's going on now. You can sit there wishing wrestling was like it used to be, or you can try to enjoy the product being offered. Or, as so many people threaten, but never do, stop watching.

Man everyone looks back on their childhood as the best memories... I would Slap anyone who said that Wrestling in 99 was better than it was in 89.... thats becuase thats when i first started watching a fell in love... i feel like Wrestling loses it's mystic when you grow older and accept it for what it is.... I still love it.. but You have to change your approach and your mentality towards it.... The internet killed what mystic was left, now everyone knows everything about everyone.. Let these kids enjoy this for the couple of years the can....
