I said it before around here and I'll say it again, "everything was the best when you were a kid", what we liked was probably hated by the older fans then believe it or not. Its the way life and wrestling is. Do I think this era sucks? Yes I do, but I guarantee little kids that dont know anything about the sport, love this era. Which theres no reason to be mad at them. I just accept it.

The writers are just sooo lazy. And it's bringing everything else down with it..... the whole look and feel of everything they do.... for what? Guys like Khali, Nitro and Lashley? Talent that has never gotten over, even a little with any of the core WWE Fans....... I hope little six year old Joey loves his WWE product. I feel sick just being a fan anymore....

At least they're used to this trash, they don't know any better.
We do, which is what makes it so hard to stick around.
Honestly, if WWE had been like this in 1998 when I started watching, I would have turned it off after 10 minutes.

Honestly, I miss the days of pre-Internet WWF/E. It sucks, with the very few exceptions, to not be excited or surprised by anything anymore in wrestling. The only things of recent that come to mind was when Edge won at NYR and the finale to the 2007 Rumble match with Taker and HBK going back and forth. I would give anything to be a fan like kids are, without having that whole IWF in the back of my mind.

I think you should be a little more optomistic, its not the END of Wrestling or anything and theres many years to come that could top the Attitue era.

Then you must really feel sorry for me as I think the best wrestling was in the late 70's to end of the 80's. ;D SO do I, but that's when I grew up watching wresting. BUT, dwelling on that isn't going to change what's going on now. You can sit there wishing wrestling was like it used to be, or you can try to enjoy the product being offered. Or, as so many people threaten, but never do, stop watching. Since the Benoit incident I really haven't watched either WWE or TNA programming other than WWE 24/7 and MSG Classics. Once Triple H returns I'll turn into RAW again, but just for his matches and Regal's if he happens to be on while I'm flipping. But other then those two wrestlers everyone else I truly liked watching in the ring is either retired, dead or injured.

Man everyone looks back on their childhood as the best memories... I would Slap anyone who said that Wrestling in 99 was better than it was in 89.... thats becuase thats when i first started watching a fell in love... i feel like Wrestling loses it's mystic when you grow older and accept it for what it is.... I still love it.. but You have to change your approach and your mentality towards it.... The internet killed what mystic was left, now everyone knows everything about everyone.. Let these kids enjoy this for the couple of years the can.... i definintly agree with that. and i love wrestling...period. im still a huge fan right now, and its honestly my earliest childhood memory...i always wanted to see who the next potential star was, and learn new moves, etc.. i love the charecters now, i just dont like how so many matches end without finishers, or with the overdrive... = ] but i do love wrestling, i wouldnt try and take away the new kids "mystic" i'd jsut try to show them older stuff, and what it was, and why it was so improtant in that period of time.

I feel bad for ANY wrestling fan, especially one who spends their money on the WWE garbage...

God I miss watching WCW from 96-98 as a little kid. Heck even 99-00 in WCW was decent for me b/c I didn't know any better. But 96-98 was awesome. Watching the nWo take over..always wondering when Sting would finally thwart their plan..all the heartbreaking Hogan victories..wondering who would turn nwo/wolfpack next..etc.

The Attitude Era is NOWHERE near the best ever. WWF 1985-1996 AND WCW 1990-1993 were both better eras. I agree. That's when I started watching it when I was 3 or 4 but those years belong to me. The newer fans can have their era(s). Wrestling will never be as good as it was back then...at least for me.
