What's the most matches that have been on a single card?
There were apparently FIFTEEN matches at WCW Slamboree 1996!
Anyone got a larger card? Past or present. Just curious!

The largest WWE Card I can remember is WM 22. It has like 11 or 12 matches, but then again it was 3(?) hours long.

WrestleMania IV had a total of 16 matches!! That's insane compared to now. Now, you'd never see that many matches on a WrestleMania card.

I don't know about the most matches, but I believe Wrestlemania 2000 is the card with the most participants.

just curious, how are you doing this guide? because a while back, I created a guide to ALL the WWE/WCW PPVs, but a lot of it got deleted. well I'm watching the PPV on vhs, looking in the official WCW magazine results, and doing online research. I'm not including results/who won, just what the matches were. I'm including dates and venues too. I'm a total perfectionist and I love doing layout/graphic design so it's gonna be awesome, I'm nearly finished the WCW PPVs. I think I've come up with a near-perfect layout for listing matches. Might try and sell some copies of the guide on eBay when I'm done. dunno if it'd sell, but it's definetely a hell of a lot better than the "guides" i found when searching for them myself. I'm starting WWE PPVs next. I'd like to include Nitros, Thunders, Smackdowns and Raws, but I don't have any on tape and they can be hard to find at decent quality. PM me if you want more information or help with your guide, T1

It's mostly copying and pasting from Wikipedia and filling in whatever may be wrong. I include the DVD/VHS cover, the promotional poster, any significant pics from the event, and then the results. I use colors to differentiate from WWE/WCW/TNA), and the World title matches. It's pretty fun to work on when you have some free time.

I'm not gonna add ANY event to my guide unless I've physically watched it. I'm sure you've found it already, but www.ddtdigest.com is by far the best WCW results archive you can find. cool, no I didn't know about that site. plenty of holes, but I'll take all the help i can find, thanks a lot! I've started putting together my own DVD covers too, but that's a while off finishing cos i need to scan all the event logos from my magazines and also finish the layout.

Yeah there ins't much before 96/97 on the site, but most of the reports after that are pretty detailed. And have lots of jokes to make reading them enjoyable. I just need to remember to split the document into two once it reaches about 350 pages, or else it'll delete.

For some reason, it's always deleted random documents for years. Usually 100% picture documents will just delete after 70 pages or so, and then text documents delete when they get pretty long as well. It's so annoying when it happens, but now I'm trying to back up my documents onto a Flash Stick.

I'm using microsoft word, should i be worried? Have you had problems with Word randomly deleting documents in the past? If it's going to be very long, I'd probably split it into two just for precaution. Or at least save a backup copy onto a disc/flash stick. It may just be my computer, but I'm not sure. Just be careful as I wouldn't want what happened to me to happen to you.

I make pretty regular backups anyway.

I make pretty regular backups anyway. what I would do is split it into 2-3 different documents when you're making it. Then when you're completely done with the project, comebine them into one( while keeping the 3 backups). See if it deletes or not. If not, then you can delete the backups and just use that 1. Better safe than sorry IMO.
