IMO, hands down, HHH.
Now, he can put on some great matches, especially during '99 - 04, but can anyone truly put this guy on the same level as Hogan, Flair, Austin, or anyone else who actually revolutionzed the business at one point?
HHH in my opinion is at his best in a supporting role, NOT as the head guy. The company just shoves this dude down everyone's throat & in everyway possible. I mean to have Ric Flair in every promo tell the world that HHH is the best of all-time is a joke!
He was great as Shawn's right-hand guy, he was great with Pac & the Outlaws evenly carrying DX, but as the head guy? I just never bought into him. He cuts horrible interviews, does the same shtick everytime he comes to the ring & while he's in there. And everytime he gets beat the company makes sure he comes out better than the oppenent. It took him what, 2 minutes to tapout to Benoit at WMXX? What a joke.
I have never once said I have to spend $40 on a PPV, or tune it to Raw because of how "important" something was that he was doing. People always say how he's main draw on Wrestlemania & that's why people watch. That's BS. Wrestlemania sells itself now, just like the Superbowl does. People tune in for the Superbowl just for the event of it, not because of who's playing. The same now goes for Wrestlemania. So to give him all the credit just sucks.
Anyway, that's my rant.

This is asked every week, and every week this results in an argument.
No-one is "over-rated". Just because you don't like that wrestler, doesn't make them over rated.

I'd say the whole main event scene for the last couple years has been extremely over rated. Much like the divas, who are hired based on looks, WWE pushes meatheads to the top and expects us to embrace them. Brock Lesnar, Bobby Lashley and Randy Orton were/are all just meatheads in plain tights with no personality or mic skills. Some, like The Rock and SCSA, have a personality that took them to a higher level and are more often remembered for that rather than their physiques.
Today, I think Randy Orton is the worst. Mostly because fans and writers alike are under the delusion that he has any personality or acting abilities at all. This guy SOUNDS like he is reading a script, its ridiculous.

Randy Orton.
To me, the guy just sucks. He seems like he's lost during matches.

wat did flair do to revolutionize this buisness? l You can't be serious? Yeah he sucks ass now as a wrestlerwhich is why he's retiring.....but what did he do to revolutionize the business? Great booking, writing, arguably the greatest heel of all time and yes once upon a time a great wrestler. Jeff Hardy - I don't think it needs explanation.

Jeff Hardy, HHH, Batista and The Great Khali. Yeh, I got an opinion, Sue Me. Why do you want us to sue you for? Cena, Batista and Hunter are the most overrated

I disagree with your statement about HHH. Yes he may be at the end of his prime, BUT you said he is not up there with the likes of Hogan. Hogan could not wrestle. He was an 80's styled wrestler which consisted of a few wrestling moves and punches. Austin and Flair were actually top notch wrestlers. And HHH did revolutionize wrestling, he was a founding member of DX, he put on high quality matched with The Rock in 2000, Austin in 2001, Kurt Angle and Jericho in 2002. Formed Evolution in 2003, I could go on and on. . . . .

Anyone that says CM Punk just wants attention.
I'd have to say the obvious ones; Cena, Batista, Jeff Hardy needs to work on more moves than high flying.

Formed Evolution in 2003, I could go on and on. . . . . As a whole package, HHH is no where Hogan is. Hogan has charisma, mic skills & drawing ability. On top of that, Hogan will ALWAYS be someone people want to see, much Rock, Austin, Flair. Wrestling isn't about actual wrestling, but the entertainment aspect. I mean Rock's finisher is nothing more than an elbow drop! Yes, HHH co-founded DX, but Shawn was the obvious star with HHH as a support. HHH never really got over until Chyna came into the mix & it wasn't because of anything he did, but because of her presence, IMO. As far as HHH having great matches will all of those guys, who can't?!
