OK I here everyone on the internets remarks about Cena should turn heal, Hogan did (it took him how long to do that? 5x as long as cenas been around) anyway. I am going to stop listening to the internets marks (and supposed smarks) and stop reading spoilers and crap. I know a man (not me) who had been watching wrestling since way before I was born (not a relative either) and his highlights are meeting BlackJack Mulligan and breaking his hand shaking it. Anyway I wish I could see wrestling threw his eyes. His dream fight is Mark Henry (everyone on the IWC craps on his) vs. The Great Khali. Two guys that to him are "unstoppable. It would be so great." This is a man who watched through the 70's, 80's, 90's, 2000's of pro wrestling. His favorite guys are Hogan, Andre, Flair (he does a good woooo......), Cena, Macho Man, Superstar Billy Graham, Orton, Henry, Khali. My point is. I wish I could go back before the internet came around. And see wrestling how it is. I feel bad visiting this man and telling him about crap. So you know what? I don't. I shut the up and keep wrestling pure to him. And I wish I could go back to that. I really do.

I'm sure you're gonna get your share of flamming about the subject, but hey, I agree with ya more or less . . . .
Wrestling as a whole was indeed more "magical" back before the 'net, or the dirt sheets, or anything like that. You tuned in week to week and saw what you saw. It can be cool to read some insider info from time to time, but too much really can spoil things, no pun intended.

Too bad wrestling has turned to crap now. Vince glamourized the sport, I wish I had lived during the days of regional wrestling where crap was real. Back when the wreslters were tough, back when wrestlers had to really earn their stripes, not someone coming in because theyre a celebrity and getting a higher paycheck than the hardest workers.

I think its all part of growing up, but at times I wish that I still viewed wrestling like I did when I was a child.

That man you are talking about....I used to see wrestling thru those eyes. I'm 27 years old and watched wrestling religously for 15 years before I finally got on the internet.
I am a product of the Superheavyweights of the 1980's.....I am still in awe of Andre The Giant & Haystacks Calhoun...
A true champion to me is Bruno Sammartino....
I have old mags from the 80's with subscriptions in them for Meltzer's newsletters. Who knew that he'd help destroy the magic for us marks.
I don't mind wrestling nowadays being that it is in my blood....but the internet definietly took the magic away. The internet even destroyed my love for Hulk Hogan. I would have never known what a money hungry douche he really is if it wasn't for the "net".

Just so everyone does know. The man is 62 years old and named Tommy. If he's 62, I'm sure he does remember some great times in wrestling . . . . like, all of them! 100% correct. And he still to this day after years of watching wrestling speaks so highly of it. Like the Rock, Pilman, Luger, everyone. Sure there are guys he doesn't like. But he speaks so highly on it. It makes it hard to complain about anything about wrestling. I WILL NEVER EVER TALK crap ABOUT WRESTLING AGAIN. And I will loose alot of respect for people that do. I can pretty much promise nobody here is 62. And at 62 Tommy is kicking ass in his bed loving wrestling. Making the highlight of every Monday, and Friday. And he even like ECW (not Nitro though he doesn't think he's a cool guy) If any of you guys had the pleasure of meeting the T man as I call him you would change the way you look at wrestling. I do not look at the spoilers of Smackdown so I can watch it with Tommy. And see how much he is STILL in awww. Of the sport we came to love and respect. Love or hate any guy out there. We still wish we could be anyone of them. So for that breif moment our star would shine and some child who looks up to us (every guy has atleast one) and we could realize we have made it. And that is what every person on our TV has done. Nobody is handed it. Despite what dirtsheets say about people.
