It sucked because there were no title changes and whoever booked Batista vs. Khali is a dumbass. I can understand/ expect Cena to retain, but there was no reason for Khali or Nitro to retain their titles. This is supposed to be the second biggest PPV of the year and not only were there no title changes, but there weren't even any matches with any stipulations added to them or anything. A cage match, a ladder match, a No DQ match...hell, they should have done SOMETHING just for the sake of change. Everything was just so poorly booked.
But being there live, I thought the PPV was much better compared to if I had just stayed home and watched it. The crowd really was what made it enjoyable for me.

Other than Punk losing I thought the PPV was too predictable.

BECAUSE CENA RETAINED
Apart from that, I enjoyed it.

I can't believe there were no Title Changes, it's Summerslam for gods sake. I could accept John Cena retaining against Randy Orton, as most were expecting Orton to win, so it was kind of a suprise that Cena won.
But, to have the Great Khali Retain over Batista is stupid. They've basically just done that so it wont ruin the Great Khali's image as a Champion they've recently built up, and having him loose the Belt after just a month wouldn't really make much sense. But still...
The fact that there was no ECW Title Change is well, ridiculous. It's not going to push Morrison anymore that he already is as champion.
I also have no idea why Triple H used his normal same old 'The Game' Music. This was the perfect oppertunity for him to have the King of Kings Music since he was against King Booker, and they had hyped him up as the King of Kings on his Return...

The only thing I didn't like was how boring the crowd was. ESPECIALLY for Mysterio and HHH. WWE has to be pissed that they spent all this time hyping him and he only got normall HHH reaction. Normal HHH Reaction?

For me, crappy matches. Although Orton/Cena was good Cena should of lost. Khali/Tista was unbearable. Morrison/Punk was awful. HHH/Booker was just for him returning, the match itself was poor.
Oh yeah and Mysterio is fat.

Well... i think it relied to heavily on people like Mysterio and HHH. imo theres no point blaming cena he is gonna keep retaining for along time to come so never bank a pay per view buy on him losing. But I mean its good to hav Rey and HHH, but theyre not the catch they once were. Also these days i think wwe's lesser ppv's turn out to be the better. Wrestlemania was bad but GAB was pretty good this year!

I thought SummerSlam was good. Not the best, but it was good.

No title changes. CM Punk should've gotten the ECW title. At least they didn't do a clean finish that time, but if their isn't a rematch with Punk going over, I'll be very disappointed with the booking there. Actually they did do a clean finish. That ing hack could never get his feet up on the ropes.

SummerSlam was a great PPV! I loved it except the end when Cena retained. The overall match (main event) was good though. The only match I was let down by was Punk/Morrison. I really havn't been impressed with their matches and I was under the impression that they'd steal the show. I had high hopes for their match at SummerSlam but was let down. I hope (as many people have ben saying) that they have one final battle at Unforgiven in a ladder match for the ECW Championship and that way they can go all out.
EDIT: Batista vs. Khali was pretty brutal too. Just get the belt off of that guy!!!

Because it's one of the 'big four' and yet, there were no title changes... No title changes = everything is as it was = POINTLESS PPV...

Because they didn't give HHH/Booker enough time and of course because Cena and Morrison retained. Other than that, I enjoyed Summerslam, best PPV since Backlash, I really like the match between Rey and Chavo.

I watched it this morning...er...legally, and I enjoyed it. Aside from Khali/Batista, I enjoyed every match on the card. I was suprised at how much I enjoyed Kane/Finlay.

Summerslam was actually a pretty damn good PPV... the lack of title changes didn't change the fact that the matches themselves were good matches... Of course the whiny Orton/Punk fans are going to complain about their man not winning... how about be like me and others and cheer for the guy but don't whine, moan, bitch and complain when you don't get what you want... it's like everyone is 6... "I WANT IT I WANT IT I WANT IT... NOW!!!!" -_-

Sorry - but when the WWE ruins my enjoyment and a PPV, I have to pay to watch... I take it personally - and by jobbing out Punk, the PPV was totally ruined, for me...

I enjoyed the show. My biggest surprise was Batista didn't beat Khali for the belt. I really thought he'd get the belt back.
