The titles that should've changed, didn't. Thats why. The matches weren't the worst, but all 3 World Title matches should've ended differently. I don't care about Cena anymore, fans in NY and Canada have already made it abundantly clear, "Cena Sucks!" So, who cares if he goes a year? Orton really wouldn't have been the best champion for the belt anyway. People look at a reign like Shawn Michaels' in 1996 and see some stellar matches against Diesel, Bulldog, Vader, hell, even Sid! But history will show Cena's reign was just him vs a monster like Khali or Umaga, a PPV tag match, or some crapty 5-Way match that really didn't make much sense. History will do the talking, but there's no excuse for Nitro and Khali, who don't have Cena's ability to be able to put out an okay match with the right guys, or his marketability.
Those two wearing belts makes no sense. Khali has no right to wear ANY belt, and Nitro is being established WHILE HE'S CHAMPION!! How does that make sense??! If they lost their belts, I would've been okay with Cena retaining.

i'm amazed at how many people are listing the reason the ppv sucked is that no titles changed hands. that's the problem with internet fans. they want whatever it is that's ultimately going to happen to happen right now. everyone thought there were definitely going to be some title changes going into it (since the wwe is so predictable & all), then there aren't any title changes and it automatically makes the whole event "pointless." it is impossible to make internet fans happy. it's always either too predictable or pointless, unless it's someone they like winning a title - or someone they hate losing a title.

I wanted Orton to lose - and I got it, I wanted Khali to retain - and I got it... However, as I said before - the fact that Punk lost to that scrub Morrison, registered the Cena & Khali results, null and void... and thus, ruined the event for me...

If you were actually living under a rock and missed summerslam, you wouldn't have any clue watching the shows this week.
The matches were decent at best.
I mean seriously name something standout from this PPV. It was just bland.

No, titles should've changed at Summerslam. We have 3 unqualified champions at the moment, all had their titles on the line. Guess what? No belts switched, and those same 3 that pissed everyone off so long are still champions. Don't you get it? People kept following the build to Summerslam in hopes of actually seeing credible wrestlers win World Titles. I can't tell you how many people said "I see Nitro holding the belt until Summerslam, where CM Punk wins the belt after a "boyhood dream ala HBK at WM12 build." Guess what? Punk lost. Khali was also a crapty champion, who should've never won the belt, but hey, as long as he drops the belt to Batista at Summerslam, whatever. Oh wait! HE'S STILL F'N CHAMPION!!! And people actually bought Summerslam in hopes of Cena losing, which he again, didn't. I don't hear too many people really complaining about the Intercontinental Title not switching hands, so its not the fact that the belts don't trade hands. ITS THE FACT THAT ALL THE BELTS THAT NEEDED TO, SHOULD'VE, AND IN A WORLD WITHOUT THOSE DUMBASS WRITERS STUPID SENSE OF "WRESTLING" WOULD'VE TRADED HANDS, DIDN'T!!!!!!!

I don't think Summerslam itself sucked. In my opinion, it was better than the matches at the Royal Rumble this year, save for the Rumble match itself. One match doesn't ruin it for me (Khali/Batista) but a majority of the matches would've had to be horrid.
