Hulk Hogan's $50 million+ fortune in jeopardy?
Source: PWTorch.com
Hulk Hogan's entire $50 million+ fortune may be in jeopardy.
Due to the tragic car accident last weekend in Florida that left Nick Hogan's passenger John Craziano in critical condition, the stage is set for a major lawsuit.
Because Nick Hogan is only 17 years old and still considered a minor, Nick's legal guardian (Hulk) would be the defendant in any lawsuits filed.
Hulk Hogan has been seen on "Hogan Knows Best" encouraging Nick's street racing. If it's found that Hulk has used the "Hogan" name to get Nick out of traffic tickets (as Nick eluded to in his recent interview with RIDES Magazine), Hulk would inheret even more liability.
Looks like Hulk might need Vince more than Vince needs Hulk afterall.

Only $50M? That's pretty sad that A-Rod has made more money in the last two years than Hulk Hogan has during his entire run in wrestling.

It is funny that in the end Hogan comes "running back to daddy," if you will -- Vince. And I'm sure he'll be back because of this. Only $50M? That's pretty sad that A-Rod has made more money in the last two years than Hulk Hogan has during his entire run in wrestling. So you're saying $50 mil isn't much then?

If Hogan earned like a million a year, he's been wrestling on that kind of salary for like 15 years. 15 x million = 15million. Even all the other stuff that comes with it like endorsements etc., 50 million isn't bad at all.

What do you mean ONLY $50 million? Most people will be lucky to ever see $1 million in their entire lifetime.

I'm not saying $50M isn't a lot..obviously that's way more than enough $$ to be supported for life. but my point is that celebrity wise..it isn't much. I mean..Alex Rodriguez makes $28M a year. Compared to a baseball player, wrestlers make nothing. ( Remember that Hogan makes/has made a lot more $$ than any other wrestler).
Think of it this way..A-Rod makes more money in 4 months then Mickie James will ever see in her lifetime.

Hogan has made way over a million a year in his WCW heyday. You guys forget endorsement deals and merchandising. 50 million for Hogan is pretty light. Linda and company must really spend a lot of Hulk's money.

It's amazing to see the wrestling world and all their titans fall to the ground.
I give WWE til Christmas to be completely huge defeatd by the government and thrown out of business.
I give Hogan about a year of waiting out the lawsuit before he's gotta sell his blood, semen, and plasma to pay for Mcdonalds dinner every night.
I give TNA 2 more years before they're run out of business as well.
What's wrestling?

He could lose 25 million tops as he still has a seemingly greedy family to support. WWE isn't going to be put out of buissnes they'll just not be allowed to do whatever the hell they want to do like currently. TNA would be done already if Panda energy left so how long they last just depends on that.

The only way he can get sued is if he is found neglagent when it comes to Nick. Just because Nick is 17 does not mean Hulk is responsible for all actions he does. The only way he can get money taken from him is if Hulk is found in neglect of Nick. I.E. Telling Nick to go race on the streets. Illegally or knowing Nick races on the streets and not punishing him properly.
And 50 million is not much for a man of Hulk's popularity and celebrity. He has been wrestling since the 70's, is the most popular wrestler of all time, been in several movies (not that good but where successful), has a hit TV show. Considering Roger Clemens made 20 million this year to pitch about 20 days says alot for how much wrestlers really make.
