I don't know if I'm the only one, I don't think I will be. But, has anyone turned out to be a fan of Umaga?
I remember when he first debuted, I thought "Wtf? He'll last a few months." But after a while, he has really grown on me.
Especially in the last year. He plays the "Savage beast" well, his moveset is pretty decent for what he is, and I hate to say it but the Samoan Spike is actually credible now. Think about, this savage intense beast has some hard hitting moves, and he usually hits all of them, after that the majority of his opponents are usually ready to be pinned. But, he hits the spike in the jugular to seal the deal. Like it has been said many times too, a thumb to the throat can really hurt and leave you winded.
I wasn't quite sure when he got his first IC title run, but after a while it played out good. The way he lost it during his feud with Lashley really helped add fuel to that feud. Main eventing with Cena was good too, in my opinion he didn't look weak in the feud. We all know Cena is superman(his kryptonite is somehow the backstabber though, wtf?) and he beats everyone, therefore losing to him doesn't make you weak.
Now he's back in the upper midcard, which is good cause he can progress more and what not. I think they have to bring back AAE though, he really added the cherry on top in my opinion. A great heel manager with charisma who has control over his monster.
Eventually though, I see Umaga as a solid main eventer. I think he's over looked by a lot of people here. I hated him for a few good months, but honestly now I look forward to him on Raw and I wait for the Spike every match.
Sorry for the long rant, what are you opinions on Umaga? Oh and don't come in here and just bash him with a few words, I want a little bit of discussing/debating w/e.
