Remember this time last year when Chris Masters returned and had obviously come off the steroids and lost all his muscle mass. JBL would make fun off him on commentary and HHH and HBK also did several times about his loss of muscle.
Vince must have gave his approval for these comments to be made on air. So basically he was making fun of Chris Masters for following his own wellness policy and saying that he had a poor body.
So what message is Vince sending out to wrestlers. If you have the roided up look and dont get caught its ok?

Vince just needs to stop letting all his stars take steroids as this whole investigation has proven just that.

People just need to f off about steroids, these wrestlers choose to do them. Like it or not, mainstream viewers don't want to watch guys no bigger than them main event a PPV now a days.
They don't want a guy Londons size acting like Lashley/Batista, sad but true.

Everyone is on the steroid bandwagon right now, bantering and spouting off like they actually know what they're talking about . . . when they mostly don't. I'm not claiming that I DO know, mind you, but jumping on the bandwagon is just annoying. Steroids have been a part of professional sports for a good many years, it isn't like it's a new thing.

They were never the size of Lashley or Cena and made it to the top. Even take a look at a little less fit person, Mick Foley, he was no were near the size of those guys, and still managed to make it to the top of the WWE in his career. Its about the charisma and presence, it just so happens to be today half the guys who can talk on the mic are on steroids for display purposes. I think after this whole recent issue (Benoit case/the 10 suspened wrestlers) a roid-free star is gonna make to Cena's level.

Who the cares about having muscular bodies? All you have to do is be between 140 and 210 lbs. You'll be just fine. It's ing wrestling, not a body building competition.

Vince has admitted to being on steroids in the 80s. HBK has admitted to doing roids at least in the early 90's. Rock tried them in his time as a college football player. Even a guy like Umaga who isnt rippling is on roids. How do we know Foley never did anything for the pain. Some of these guys take steroids to heal. Some abuse them because of the edge/ look they can obtain. I agree that guys with more believable bodies are better but even the guys who werent rippling and muscle bound in the 80s were still heavy partiers that drank excessively and did drugs. The issue shouldnt just end with steroids. Drugs as a whole have to be looked at and really pushed into the heads of the talent that if youre caught you may very well be finished with the company as of your first offense. It might be harsh but that may be the stance they have to take. Eddie was an example for everyone how many times? Even his close friend Benoit couldnt get away from the drugs even though his closest friends were ruining their lives and dying because of them. Chavo continued usuing after finding his own uncle dead due to years of abuse of these substances. Its unfortunately gonna take a lot for this to sink in with some of the people on the roster

I'm not sure if you know, but if a guy weighs 140 pounds and is at least 6 foot tall, he's going to be skinnier than London or Kendrick. You have to be at least 200 pounds of muscles to look decent on TV.

WWE has always been about apearance & larger than life physiques is a very important part of that, look at how the ratings dropped in mid ninties after intial steriod scandal when they had smaller guys Hart & HBK mainly on top. Much better wrestlers but in Vince's eyes it's usually bigger more muscular guys who draw.
It was wrong that Masters reduced size was mocked, but I think in this case they had no choice, he looked like a different person he was so much smaller, most fans probarbly thought it was Master's teenage brother!

Listen, I refereed at ROH...wrestling is a big drug culture, not just roids, but everyting...thats why I got out actually. I'm still a wrestling fan because i love it, but when I was on the road, nothing but drugs and whores...I'm straight edge and got tired of seeing it, it soured my whole view on wrestling. Wrestlers are pieces of garbage and its not going to change...it starts early on the indys...its not just WWE

Debra claims Austin was on steroids. Is Vince sending the wrong message? No. Are you ing kidding me? It's ok for the owner of the company to be on drugs but not the talent, how is that not the wrong message? Look at the guys they've always pushed. If Vince didn't send the wrong message, Shelton Benjamin and finlay would be champs of each brand. Fact is, unless your a huge muscle guy in the WWE, your getting the time of day from Vince.
