I feel that with all the big wrestlers always getting the big pushes all the smaller wrestlers i.e. the cruiserweights feel a lot of pressure to get bigger. I mean look at the cruiserweight division they're nothing more than food for the sharks, look at Funaki, with a guy like him always jobbing to the big guys like Mark Henry and The Great Khali as well as others of course he'd want to get bigger. While talentless losers like Lashley get treated like royalty. I feel WWE brought this on themselves, there's no reason why the smaller guys should'nt get a push, I mean they don't have to be the WWE or World Champion to be taken seriously, look at guys like Piper and Bulldog they were never big champions but they sure were and still are big names in the business, the WWE just needs to bring the credibility back to the smaller titles and maybe wrestlers wouldn't feel the need to take steroids, it seems like it's worse now then it was back then.

Yeah, that's a really good point. It was the same thing way back in the day, too. I just really hope this will all come to an end due to the whole Benoit thing and the Wellness Program. Somehow, though, I have a feeling it won't.

Of course they feel pressured into it, no matter what anyone says. I'm sure they are, a remember watching all the stuff on TV with wrestlers from the past talking about Benoit, sure we had some ass clowns talking too but still. I remember a lot of them admitting sometimes guys will think they need to be bigger to get a push, or keep their job etc. Steroids makes this happen a lot quicker then natural.

I think the bigger problem is pain killers. A lot of these guys have to take pain killers just to walk and do regular daily activities.

Yes I think there is pressure to have "the look" that WWE has always pushed. Sadly Vince likes the big boys and will always over look smaller talent for 6'6" jacked up guys.

funaki has always been a jobber imo he has never had a big story line it is there own stupid fault for taking them no pressure Funaki has always been a jobber despite being on steroids. So could you imagine what his life would have been like without them? Probably unemployed. To me, that's pressure.

Yeah they probably do.
Especially with all the huge guys walking around, I'm sure they do.
