Smackdown was actually very good in 2005, so it's not Teddy Long. Although I will admit that he's gotten very stale this year. It's just a combination of that and WWE continually ing them over by plucking talent to give to Raw.

I've always liked Long. I haven't actually watched the show in ages, but I've been following it online. The shows in general have been pretty lame for a while, but the main reason why I can't even take the brand seriously is their World Champion. The Great Khali is a disgrace to the title. I would almost rather see Hornswoggle unify the Cruiserweight and World Titles than have Khali hold it another month. He makes me sick he is so pathetic. My friend, who isn't even a wrestling fan anymore, was at my house when I ordered SummerSlam and made fun of Khali the entire match. He said that it looked like WWE just picked a tall guy off the streets and put the belt on him. When even the least interested of casual fans can identify your champion as terrible, that is pathetic.

I think I'd enjoy smackdown a lot more if it was live but I dont see that happening.

I blame it on the fact that whenever Smackdown starts having SOMETHING good, they take it away and move it to RAW... IE Cena, Lashley (eventually, though he went to ECW first), Kennedy, London and Kendrick... They take all the good things Smackdown has and moves them to RAW... That is why they keep going down hill....
