Bob "Hardcore" Holly might be done as an active pro wrestler. Holly is reportedly having issues with his arm as a result of recent surgery and was slated to return to the Smackdown brand very soon.
The word that made the rounds at WWE's TV tapings yesterday was that his condition got worse after the surgery and he has having problems with feeling in his arm. A majority of the blame is being put on the doctors who operated on him.

That really sucks. I'd actually come like Hardcore Holly a little bit these days, especially after his match with RVD on Sci Fi. It's a really lame thing to happen to anyone though. Do you have a source on this by the way?

He should def. be kept around as a trainer or a road agent...Bob Holly is one of the toughest people I have ever seen in my life...Keeping him in the WWE to scout talent/train would be a good move

it happens. Doctors do f up. I friend of my wife's also had her baby last week via c section. Turns out the instruments they used were dirty and have caused a staph infection. Every day since having the baby she's had to go to the hospital, get the stitches removed, the cut cleaned out and re-stitched.
Much as I don't like Holly, it sucks for him but I've no use for him on my tv. Send him to OVW...he'd have a field day there as trainer.

What goes around comes around douchebag. Doesn't bother me at all. Trash like him deserves fate giving him a kick in the sack. I had a new respect for Lesnar when he tried to kill that douche.

I doubt he'll be released. He's been a part of the company for so long now.
He might be, but I see it being more likely that he'll be made into an agent.

This is pretty bad news because I've grown to like and respect Hardcore Holly. He's given so much to the business and its a shame that his career might end because a doctor messed up. He's been so loyal to the company and never really got a reward for it, except for a WWE title match where Lesnar practically killed him and a couple ECW title shots where he just put Lashley over.
Another reason why his arm is acting up might be because he didn't get the surgery fast enough. I heard him say in an interview somewhere that he was hurt for a long time, but waited to get the surgery done becuase he was promised to be included in Wrestlemania and once again it didn't happen.
Hopefully, he won't get fired and will either go back to wrestling or get a trainer role, but with all the cuts that WWE has been making, I don't like Hardcore's chances. I hope that he recovers and will eventually be back on TV.
