All I can say is that I've been a John Cena fan since day one. I'm not riding a bandwagon.

Why can't we say Orton? I know he has had his backstage problems, but he is a young, talented wrestler, who should be given a shot. And the prestige thing, long reigns are acceptable, but not when it;s the same damn guy, for 2 years at a time. I for one, hate really long reigns, I like decent time with the same champion, but 2 years is too much for me. I think 1 year is a good enough reign for someone trying to get a long reign. I am not watching wrestling to see Hogan all over again, I don't wanna see that. Orton has already lost all his credibility. And some people do watch wrestling to see Hogan all over again. Once again, I really don't think you know what you want. Vince McMahon gives you what you want and you watch it. If you knew what you wanted, you wouldn't watch the WWE and complain. I haven't watched wwe since wm21. why? because it bores me. I respect cena alot. He seems like a nice, genuine guy who has done alot for the business in terms of selling merchandise, not getting into trouble, performing at every event, etc., but he just bores me. I want to see bret hart come back and win the belt, that's what I want. It will never happen, but I want someone who has atleast the in ring skills bret has to take the title. That my friends, is real wrestling.

I guess the original poster probably thinks that the fans in Hammerstein Ballroom that threw toilet paper at Cena are some "mindless internet fans", but those fans are the smart fans of wrestling. Not like most of the fans that attend wwe shows these days who think Cena is so cool and the five knuckle shuffle is awesome. If fans that go to wwe shows in big arenas were as smart as the HB fans, they'd show their disapporval for Cena and wwe would have to get the belt off him. John Cena is lucky that he is wwe champion at a time that Vince McMahon has gone senile and doesn't know what he's doing anymore. ...wow. wow what?

i like john cena. he seems like a good guy. i dont care for his wrestling persona since id say summer of 2005. john cena the dr of thuganomics with the $$$$$y habits and old music was one of the best and freshest things id seen in wrestling in a while because i felt it reflected an unfortunately large portion of society at that point and made it funny. sometime after carlito came in and he went off to make his movie he became lame for me. sure he can easily pull out some great matches but hes hardly innovative and while everyone may not judge great professional wrestling by being acrobatic, innovative or even athletic , I feel at least athleticism and the desire to create something should be there. i like being surprised and seeing something id never seen before. a cool new suplex, rollup combo, new aerial move whatever just something thats like damn whered that come from? i cant be surprised form someone ive been seeing the same stuff from for almost 5 years. it doesnt make him less likeable. just makes me not want to watch him like many others.

I have no problem with Cena because he's just doing his job. He's been champ for over a year, with the reason being that he is sucessful. People, kids and adults pay their money to cheer and too boo him. Im sick and tired of all the hate he gets, as it really all comes to the fact that many people have nothing else better to do, than wish death on a professional wrestler. Its sick if you ask me.

Would anybody buy a PPV for a Hardcore Brawl featuring Rey Mysterio vs. Rob Van Dam? That actually sounds like it would be an awesome match. I would most certainly buy that DVD.

Cena was really hated around the end of 2005, to mid 2006. Since then, it's really died down, and only the loosers carry on booing him at shows. I kinda can't be bothered with it anymore, he's a top guy in person, and the only time I'll really bother cheering against him nowadays is if he's against someone that I prefer.

IMO, those fans in Hammerstein Ballroom, are the worst type of fans... pathetic, is what they are... They're so extreme, they threw toilet paper at Cena... they must be so proud of themselves ...
