i was there front row when y2j came out. seening how i live in the best city in the world. FORT. LAUDERDALE, FLORIDA 954/754 BITCH!!!!!! Fort. Lauderdale, hell Florida as a whole has the best crowds out there. and we get the best wwe shows and the best superstar returns, just like the rock return in 2004. Give me a break, the florida crowd ruined the return and totally suck, if it was in Toronto or even Chicago, NY, England, montreal, etc. The pop would have been a lot louder! tell your mommy to fix the speakers on your tv. the pop was so big i could not here myself think. and when i got home to see my ass on the tv, the pop was even lounder on my tv.

You have to admit, though...no matter how bad the crowd sucked, Jericho milked the reaction for all it was worth. i was there front row when y2j came out. seening how i live in the best city in the world. I just laughed out loud. You guys had to sit through Royal Rumble 2006, quite possibly the worst Pay-Per-View in wrestling history. I'm sorry, really, I am. Anyway, last night was a great time to be a wrestling fan. Ruined return with the clothesline or not, seeing Jericho again was absolutely incredible. He's been my favorite wrestler for almost ten years, to see him come back after over two years was absolutely incredible. I felt like I was 10 years old and Stone Cold just beat The Undertaker for the WWF Title. That isn't a feeling I can muster up very often.

Really the clothesline wouldn't have been as bad. If they zoom out to show, Y2J doing his pose.

I marked out like you wouldn't believe. The only thing I was pissed about was the crowd reaction. :-\

Watch some Puroresu, then talk to me about that. Best WWE shows? Royal Rumble 2006, 'nuff said.

I seriously think the Crowd stopped me enjoying the moment as much as I wanted to. I was expecting one of them mental Hot crowds, with huge Y2J chants that would go on for about 3 minutes not letting him speak. Whenever it showed them though, they were literally just standing there dead quiet. JR also was far from on top of his game when calling it.
The WWE boys backstage did a great job with the whole Video package and countdown etc though, just such a shame about the crowd.

I wasn't a big fan of the clothsline but i understand why they did it. They did it so that while the video was playing people could call their friends and tell them to watch in order to get the ratings up. It is smart in a way, especially since almost evryone knew it was Y2J anyway.

LMFAO! I need to tell you all a story, about one of the biggest lies ever. It made me laugh so hard, and it involves Jericho. Ok, so today, me and a bunch of my friends were talking about Jericho, when this classmate of ours walked by. He asked what we were talking about, and we said Y2J, a wrestler, came back. Then the kid goes, "Hey, isnt that Chris Jericho guy coming back, too?" We all laughed, then told him Y2J was Jericho. This is where it gets funny... The kid goes, " Oh yea, I sort of know Chris Jericho!" We all ask how, and he goes, "Well my cousin's girlfriend's cousin is Chris Jericho!" We all laughed so hard-it was SUCH a lie! I asked him where Jericho was from, and he goes, "I think Toronto."

After watching it again. How monotone are JR and King? its awful. Not even a 'Bah Gawd' from JR. Styles would have done a better job ' OH MYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD ITS CHRIS JERICHO'

The only time the crowd really popped was during the video build-up's and when he clotheslined the torch-runner. Even though they did the "Never...EEEEVER" chant, and chanted Y2J it seemed like an ok crowd, But not a great crowd. And JR and King were just awful. I mean we knew it was Jericho, But at least act suprised.
I didnt matter though, It only mattered that i was happy to see him back.
.....And yes....I marked out like a little bitch....

Honestly, him coming back wasn't that good. Between his haircut and outfit, he looked like a gay stripper. His debut in 1999 was a million times better than this. It looked like a 15 year-old trying to force a promo. I can't believe people keep saying that this is the greatest moment in years. Are you serious? There have been tons of things better than ths. A Y2J-Orton feud doesn't really excite me. It's bad enough having to deal with annoying humor from HBK and HHH, and not it looks like Y2J is joining them as well.

You'd push a man with a history of lazyness and drug abuse, who has been suspended recently for no-showing over a man who has worked hard for 15 years in different countries around the world to be considered one of the best ever in his craft. ...yeah, makes sense.

Thats HHH for ya. I absolutly hate Jeff. Talk about no mic skills. Even Shelton Benjamin has better mic skills then Jeff, and come to think of it, is more athletic. Which just begs the question, why does Shelton Benjamin get jobbed all the time and Hardy gets pushes from HHH.

WWE crowds in general are horrible compared to the past fans. All they do is sit on their hands, let out a cheer and thats it. I dont blame them really

If this is true, I am against Triple H www.wrestlezone.com/article.php?articleid=197603377 Despite being held on a pedestal, having a highly built return and the power to negotiate himself some great terms, Chris Jericho still has his doubters in the company. There have always been people in management that feel Y2J is not main event material and don't think his promo style "sells Matches." Thus there was some apprehension in thrusting him straight in to the main event. Triple H is one person that isn't 100% behind Jericho and has gone as far as to back Jeff Hardy for a push over Y2J. The recent pairing of The Game and Hardy is Hunter's real life respect for Hardy coming through. He sees him as a hard worker who is deserved on Jericho's current spot. Jericho's performance will be watched like a hawk for the next few months. Going into WWE's Armageddon pay-per-view next month, the planned SmackDown main event is Batista vs. Edge vs. The Undertaker in a Triple Threat for the World Heavyweight Championship. Plans have Jeff Hardy and Snitsky working a program, as you can see coming off of RAW this week. A match between the two in some fashion is likely for the Armageddon pay-per-view, not necessarily a one-on-one match but maybe some sort of tag match with Triple H and Umaga thrown in. Other Armageddon plans see Chris Jericho taking on Randy Orton in the main event for the WWE Championship. There has been some resistance about putting Jericho in the WWE Title picture this soon but it's believed this is part of his new deal. H must be going bat ing crazy.
