Not to sound conceded, but if it was in a place like New York or Philly, the crowd would have gone nuts.

If this is true, I am against Triple H www.wrestlezone.com/article.php?articleid=197603377 Despite being held on a pedestal, having a highly built return and the power to negotiate himself some great terms, Chris Jericho still has his doubters in the company. There have always been people in management that feel Y2J is not main event material and don't think his promo style "sells Matches." Thus there was some apprehension in thrusting him straight in to the main event. Triple H is one person that isn't 100% behind Jericho and has gone as far as to back Jeff Hardy for a push over Y2J. The recent pairing of The Game and Hardy is Hunter's real life respect for Hardy coming through. He sees him as a hard worker who is deserved on Jericho's current spot. Jericho's performance will be watched like a hawk for the next few months. Going into WWE's Armageddon pay-per-view next month, the planned SmackDown main event is Batista vs. Edge vs. The Undertaker in a Triple Threat for the World Heavyweight Championship. Plans have Jeff Hardy and Snitsky working a program, as you can see coming off of RAW this week. A match between the two in some fashion is likely for the Armageddon pay-per-view, not necessarily a one-on-one match but maybe some sort of tag match with Triple H and Umaga thrown in. Other Armageddon plans see Chris Jericho taking on Randy Orton in the main event for the WWE Championship. There has been some resistance about putting Jericho in the WWE Title picture this soon but it's believed this is part of his new deal. H must be going bat ing crazy. Nah, Jeff is ing the bosses daughter too.

I just wanted to say that I truly hope Triple H tears both of his quads off and is out for 4 years. It's been ONE DAY and he already has a problem with Jericho. ONE DAY!
Could you imagine the botchfest Randy Orton vs. Jeff Hardy would be? And for the WWE Title?!
Rest hold, rest hold, rest hold, rest hold, high spot, rest hold, high spot, botch, rest hold, botch, botch, botch, RKO. That's what their match would look like.
Triple H knows nothing about what equals ratings. If he and Stephanie ever take over the company with full control, there's no doubt in my mind that the WWE will be out of business within 5 - 10 years. Their ideas are even worse than Vince's.

To be honest, I would have preferred to see Jericho in a high profile feud for a month or so before he got involved with Orton.
I was really hoping he'd start out with Kennedy or Umaga, get his foot back in the door and let Orton build up some more credibility, all leading to Jericho winning the Royal Rumble and facing Orton at Wrestlemania.
I would give anything to see Orton/Jericho and Edge/Undertaker headline Wrestlemania as fresh match-ups.

I don't know if it's just the fact that I'm a major Kennedy fan, but I would really love for Jericho to beat Orton and eventually face Kennedy for the title at Wrestlemania. That for me would be a great match, with some great build towards it.
Another I can't believe people are complaining about the crowd, these are the same people who went off at people for nitpicking, they are now nitpicking about the crowd which was fine really into what he was saying.
Once again I'll state that I thought it was a very good segment, not the greatest of all time and could've been better, Jericho was fine on the mic although he could've been better. I'm not complaining as it's great to see Jericho back, or nitpicking as that was my opinion. At least he may actually save us from Orton if he saves us from nothing else.

they should have just shown the torch boy backstage on the floor, leaving everyone wondering what happened, then Y2J comes out.

Give me a break, the florida crowd ruined the return and totally suck, if it was in Toronto or even Chicago, NY, England, montreal, etc. The pop would have been a lot louder! tell your mommy to fix the speakers on your tv. the pop was so big i could not here myself think. and when i got home to see my ass on the tv, the pop was even lounder on my tv. You seriously got problems then....Ive got 42" Hi-Def TV with Surround Sound and the first thing that came to mind when he returned was "God that crowd is soo dead" Was it louder then when HBK returned a few weeks ago?? Probably but off the top of my head, Jerichos first debut, Goldberg winning WCW world title and multiple Rock/Austin/HHH returns all got bigger pops....Hell Kane gets a bigger pop at house shows here in Knoxville just cause its his home state/city

I think the lack of pop can be attributed to showing him before he came out, and then of course the 2 months of obvious promos.
