Something I noticed today.
Don't the champions have to defend their titles within 30 days, or they forfeit the belt?
I believe that MVP last defended his US title at The Great American Bash, which is about 2 and half months ago.
The E's screwing us over again lol.

Don't get me wrong, I'm a fan of MVP, and I believe the whole Hardy/MVP feud is the best thing in the WWE right now.
However, I feel that they should explain in some way why he hasn't defended the title on tv for such a long time.

He defends it regularly on houseshows. Normally against Matt Hardy.

Except get away with a homicide, rape, possession of child pornography, setting up a sting to get back memorabilia, pushing his wife down some stairs, etc. Basically crimes. But other than sure, he can do whatever. But yeah he defends at house shows. Also WWE has the right to ignore it's own rules, they do it all the time. WWE ignores theirs like TNA makes up theirs.

That rule hasn't been used in years. Considering that was the "reason" Edge was stripped of his title, yeah it has.

WWE always said "if it's not on TV, it never happened".

WWE always said "if it's not on TV, it never happened". What? They've reconized two house show title changes on their website twice just here recently.(Melina-Mickie and Cade and Murdoch-Hooliganz)

Look at you guys sticking up for it. Let's face it, the WWE is just inconsistent when it comes to enforcing these so-called "rules" just like they are inconsistent with nearly ever other aspect of the program.

There not automatically stripped, its upto the decision maker (i.e GM or Vince) like when Trish was injured and had it for like a year, or Edge has been stripped of the IC title even before the 30 days but just because Bischoff assumed he would be out more than 30 months. Of course, all of this is in kayfabe sense.
